The 2026 41st Annual Mid-Summer swim a non-escorted one-mile open ocean swim, powered by and coordinated by the Lavallette Beach Patrol. The event benefits the Lavallette Beach Patrol and the NJ Swim Safety Alliance.

The Lavallette Beach Patrol is committed to making this your best open ocean swim of the season! Our race site venue is set along the beautiful beaches of Lavallette! This is a point-to-point swim and in order to make your swim experience even more awesome, we will be swimming either South to North, or North to South, dependent on ocean conditions. This is an awesome race for all open ocean swimmers from beginners, to the most accomplished! You don’t want to miss this event! Register today!
We are offering two different divisions to appeal to everyone’s favorite swim event, open or wetsuit! Come race one!
Expect water temperatures to range from 61 degrees to 70 degrees.
