Herndon Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual Turkey Trot 5K at the Herndon Community Center. The race will begin at 4:00pm on November 21. Packet pick-up and race day registration ($45 for adults 21 & up, $30 for youth 20 & under) will run from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, November 20 at IZZI, 771 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170. Packet pick-up and race day registration ($45 for adults 21 & up, $30 for youth 20 & under) will also run from 1:30-3:30pm on Saturday, November 21 at the Herndon Community Center.
Long sleeve race T-shirts guaranteed to the first 450 pre-registered runners. Shirt size is only guaranteed to those that sign up by October 28. T-shirts must be picked up the day of the race. Shirts will not be available after race day.
Prizes to 1st and 2nd place winners in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. A top prize including a turkey will be given to the overall male and female winners.
Registered runners 21+ years old will receive a token beer following the completion of the race courtesy of Aslin Beer Company.
