Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Baz Luhrmann’s iconic William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet with a thrilling live cinematic concert experience. As the film plays on the big screen, a 12-piece hybrid ensemble performs the acclaimed soundtrack and score live in sync with the action, complemented by atmospheric lighting and immersive concert production.
Directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, the film reimagined Shakespeare’s classic for a new generation with its stylized visuals, modern energy and unforgettable soundtrack, featuring Des’ree’s “Kissing You,” The Cardigans’ “Lovefool,” Radiohead’s “Talk Show Host” and Garbage’s “#1 Crush.”
Developed in collaboration with Disney Concerts, William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet Film in Concert brings the romance, chaos and energy of Verona Beach off the screen and into the theater in a bold fusion of film, music and live performance.
