We are SO back. With MDW firmly in the rearview mirror, the season is officially underway at the Jersey Shore. We’re adding a weekly news roundup to keep you up to speed on everything that happens DTS. Among the highlights this week: TikTok-trendy Dot Cakes have made their way to the Shore; several new restaurants have opened in time for the season; and a beloved local bartender is remembered.

– Normandy Beach is getting five new food spots for summer 2026, including a smoothie shop, raw bar, vegan bakery, cafe, and refreshed market concept (The Jersey Shore Girl).
– Dave Quisumbing, a bartender at Bar A and several other Jersey Shore + Hoboken bars, was memorialized at Bar A following his untimely passing (@bernardquisumbing via Instagram).
