Ashtyn Asay A growing New York coffee company has officially found a new home in Bergen County. Stack Street Coffee, a coffee maker and roaster previously based in New York State, has moved its operations to Montvale. The company has taken over the entire 75,000-square-foot building at 100 Philips Parkway, located between CA Ferolie and Ametek Coining Inc. Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali announced the news last week, welcoming Stack Street Coffee to the borough. Keep reading to learn more about Stack Street Coffee’s move.
A New York Business Comes to Montvale
According to a statement from Mayor Ghassali, Stack Street Coffee has moved its operations to Bergen County from New York State at a time when, he says, businesses are leaving New Jersey. The company’s arrival represents a significant commercial investment for Montvale, with Stack Street Coffee occupying the entire 100 Philips Parkway building. The mayor said the move will bring a major business operation, jobs, and additional investment to the borough.
“We are excited to welcome Stack Street Coffee, a growing coffee maker and roaster from New York State, to Montvale,” Mayor Ghassali said. “Stack Street Coffee will be occupying approximately 75,000 square feet at 100 Philips Parkway, the entire building, bringing a significant business operation, jobs, and investment to our community.”

The property was previously a multi-tenant office and research facility and had attracted interest from multiple developers. According to Mayor Ghassali, Stack Street Coffee ultimately stood out because of its plans for the property and its investment in Montvale.
“Once Stack Street Coffee selected Montvale, our team moved quickly to work through the required permits and approvals,” Mayor Ghassali said. “We understood that timing mattered and that delays could jeopardize the deal. Borough staff worked together to secure the necessary permits and approvals quickly so Stack Street Coffee could close on the property and move forward with its plans.”
The mayor said the new business will help strengthen Montvale’s commercial tax base while bringing jobs and economic activity to the community. He also emphasized the borough’s goal of attracting businesses that can invest and grow locally. “Welcome to Montvale, Stack Street Coffee!” Mayor Ghassali said. “We’re glad to have you here.”
