Our Visit to Bad Ass Coffee in Wall Township
Devin from The Jersey Shore Girl team stopped by the Wall Township location and met with co-owner Tyler Bowman to get the full Bad Ass Coffee experience. The menu covers all the coffee-shop classics, from hot + iced coffees to lattes and cold brew. But naturally, a place called Bad Ass Coffee also has a few drinks that are a little more fun, and we needed to try them.
There’s an entire lineup of Bad Ass Lattes, with tropical-leaning names like the Caramel Wave that fit right into the Hawaiian theme. One detail we loved + needed to share is the Bad Ass Coffee Cubes. Instead of regular ice melting into an iced coffee and slowly turning it into coffee-flavored water, certain iced drinks are served with cubes made from coffee.
The Wall Township location also recently launched bottled Cold Brew + Cold Brew Espresso. And as for that Cold Brew Espresso, we can already see an espresso martini in its future.

What We Tried + Recommend
We went straight for the fun stuff. The Jack’s Rocky Road to Hana Frozen Coffee was sweet, chocolatey, + packed with caffeine, while the Cucumber Strawberry Lemonade was light + refreshing. For food, the Grilled Cheese was melty + satisfying, the Egg Bites made for an easy grab-and-go option, + the Cinnamon Malasada was the standout sweet treat. Bad Ass Coffee also sells bags of beans to take home, so there are plenty of ways to keep the island-inspired coffee fix going.
