Teresa’s Bravo Acclaim
This is not Teresa’s first venture into owning a business, but it will be Gia’s. Teresa has written several cookbooks based on her Italian-American heritage. as well as started and closed three other businesses. About Il Vero
According to its Instagram, Il Vero will open in Spring 2026 at 170 Center Avenue in Westwood. Per Teresa’s Instagram post announcing the restaurant, the food will be ‘next level’ although it’s unknown what kind of cuisine will be served. More importantly, we don’t know if sprinkle cookies are on the menu, as they are famously not Teresa’s favorite.

This isn’t the Real Housewives stars’ first foray into the restaurant industry. Several other Housewives have ventured into the food space over the years, including the Giudices’ involvement in the restaurant, Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza, with her brother Joe and sister-in-law Melissa in 2017. The Italian spot in East Hanover closed within a year due to business issues with their partners.
In the RHONJ world alone, Kathy Wakile previously sold cannoli kits and dessert mixes, while Melissa Gorga’s sprinkle cookies have become a ShopRite and national sensation over the past year. The Manzo family, owners of the Brownstone, also opened and closed several restaurants over the last decade, including Little Town Social in Hoboken, as well as having previous involvement with Tenth Street.

Outside New Jersey, Bethenny Frankel created one of the franchise’s biggest food-and-beverage successes with Skinnygirl margaritas and snack products; Kandi Burruss has dessert offerings through her Old Lady Gang restaurants; Meredith Marks sells her own line of caviar; Lisa Barlow owns her signature brand of VIDA tequila; and Lisa Vanderpump has released wines paired with branded macarons and sweets during promotions, but has been a well-known restaurateur for decades.
The opening date for Il Vero is yet to be set, but the team is shooting for the spring. Next stop: the return of RHONJ on our screens?
