Porchfest is making its way to Bergen County. The event is known around the United States, Canada, and beyond as a way to celebrate local artists and bands, and Ridgewood’s first-ever Porchfest is set to take place this Saturday, September 20th. The lineup includes over 10 musicians from various genres. Read on for what we know about Ridgewood Porchfest, happening this weekend in Bergen County, New Jersey.
The Ridgewood Event
Ridgewood’s first-ever Porchfest will take place on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 in various locales around town including Brookside Avenue, Spring Avenue, and the West Side Presbyterian Lawn. The event was first announced via @ridgewood.porchfest on Instagram in early August of this year.

The event will be held from 1PM-9:30PM, and the full schedule is as follows:
Brookside Avenue
- 1PM-1:30PM: Ridgewood Marching Band
- 1:30PM-2:05PM: Joe Oriente + Declan Power
- 1:50PM-2:25PM: Dave McCarthy
- 2:05PM-2:40PM: Acoustic Dudes
- 2:25PM-3PM: Sub Bourbonites
Spring Avenue
- 1:30PM-2:05PM: Broken Leggos
- 2:05PM-2:40PM: Pete Diamond
- 2:25PM-3PM: Swingcasters
West Side Presbyterian Lawn
- 3PM-3:40PM: Pay Dirt Drifters

The West Side Presbyterian Lawn will serve as the main stage, featuring food trucks, a beer truck, and solo guest performers. Please note that Brookside Avenue will be closed from Ridgewood Avenue to Hanks Avenue during the event. Locals can also bring a grocery store gift card as their admission to the event to support neighbors in need during September’s food action month. About Porchfest
Porchfest first originated in Ithaca, New York, in 2007, and has since spread to host events in towns across the United States and Canada. The event has rapidly expanded in recent years and is a way for the community to come together and celebrate local artists. Other New Jersey towns, including Maplewood, Caldwell, Newark, Princeton, Cranford, Asbury Park, Red Bank, Belmar, Ventnor City, Collingswood, Trenton, Bordentown, and Moorestown, also host Porchfest events each year.
