Carli Clesmere PopUp Bagels’ signature ‘Grip, Rip and Dip’ is coming to Bergen County. PopUp Bagels, the popular bagel concept known for serving its hot bagels whole alongside cups of schmear, is getting closer to opening its first Bergen County location at 6-8 Washington Street in Tenafly. PopUp Bagels Is Coming to Tenafly
PopUp Bagels is preparing to open at 6-8 Washington Street in downtown Tenafly. The bagel shop will join a busy stretch of Washington Street that’s also home to Miller’s Bakery, Pizza Nova, Chez Cheeze, + several other local businesses. The location will be the brand’s first storefront in Bergen County. PopUp Bagels’ website currently lists October 2nd as the opening date for the Tenafly shop.

A Tenafly-Exclusive Schmear Is Coming, Too
The Tenafly opening will also come with a flavor made specifically for the occasion. According to Boozy Burbs, PopUp Bagels is collaborating with chef and restaurateur Josh Capon on Capon’s Carrot Cake Schmear, a Tenafly-exclusive flavor expected to debut as part of the opening celebration. The limited-edition schmear will be available while supplies last. Capon is behind concepts including Capon’s Burgers, Capon’s Chophouse, Little Maven, and Flyfish Club.
