And those seeking a good, nourishing meal will be happy to know that The Juice Pod, a healthy eating restaurant known for its fresh açaí bowls, juices, and more, will be coming to North Jersey. What to Know
The Juice Pod is a healthy eating restaurant chain founded by sisters Danielle Leonhardt and Christine Wyatt, who originally opened its first location in Avalon, New Jersey, in 2016. They opened the business with the goal of providing the community with handcrafted, raw juices, superfood smoothies, and high-quality organic food options centered around nutrition.
Following the opening of its Avalon location, The Juice Pod expanded to other nearby cities, including Sea Isle City, New Jersey, and Springfield, Pennsylvania. It has since operated over 25 storefronts across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and more.

The Juice Pod’s opening in Waldwick marks its first location in Northern New Jersey. The new location is owned and operated by Carly Esposito, who has a background in recruiting and a passion for health, wellness, and fitness. After finding the restaurant at its Margate location, Carly and her husband Dylan sought out to help bring the brand to North Jersey.
Its grand opening was on Saturday, September 19th, bringing residents together for a day of menu offerings, giveaways, and celebrations. The event’s first 50 guests received a $10-off coupon to use on a future visit alongside some branded stickers.
Menu Options
The Juice Pod features a variety of fresh, nutrient-dense ingredients, including açaí bowls, cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, salads, wraps, and avocado toast. Its menu also features rotating seasonal items, including the chocolate-covered strawberry smoothie, birthday cake smoothie, and “Peanutty” smoothie (with açaí + peanut butter), all available this fall. Those with a pumpkin craving can also grab a Pumpkin Bowl or the Pumpkin Protein Bites.
