When the leaves start to change, there’s no better time to visit Abma’s Farm in Wyckoff, NJ. This family-owned spot, located at 700 Lawlins Road in Wyckoff, is known for its fresh produce, petting zoo and farm store. There’s another reason to visit in the fall: the Tomasello Winery Tasting Room, tucked inside its market. Read on to learn more about the wine tasting room at Abma’s and why the farm is the perfect place to celebrate the fall season in New Jersey.
Abma’s Farm: A Fall Favorite
Abma’s has always been a local favorite place to celebrate autumn. The farm hosts pumpkin picking, hayrides, and a variety of barnyard petting zoo animals such as goats, ponies, and sheep. With the addition of wine tasting, the farm has become an inviting spot for families, couples or friends looking for a relaxing afternoon escape in Bergen County.

The tasting room, run in partnership with Tomasello Winery — a South Jersey vineyard with nearly 90 years of winemaking experience – features a wide selection of reds, whites, and fruit wines. Guests can sip on flights at the counter and even bring home a bottle of their favorite wine. The tasting room recently started offering charcuterie boxes, cheese, and fruit platters available for pre-order.
The market, and the tasting room itself, can only be described as warm and inviting. String lights hang from the ceiling, and a long, wooden bar wraps around the cozy room, offering plenty of seating for both walk-ins and guests with reservations. Reservations are strongly recommended for Saturdays.
Delicious Seasonal Staples
In addition to the charcuterie platters and other food items that the tasting room offers, the farm store, conveniently attached to the tasting room, sells seasonal staples such as freshly picked apples, farm-made pies, apple cider doughnuts, and hearty soups.
The market also offers an assortment of produce from the Abmas Farm, eggs from the chickens, homemade bread, and homegrown honey.
Multiple Outings, One Location in Bergen County
For those planning a visit this fall, a few highlights shouldn’t be missed. Start at the market for fall food staples, and even purchase a plant grown from the Abma’s Farm greenhouses. Visit the petting zoo, open rain or shine, where animal feed can be purchased for an additional cost. Afterwards, head inside the tasting room for a flight of wines, savoring the best of Tomasello’s lineup. The tasting room is currently offering $16 per person for a wine flight, while the petting zoo admission fee ranges from $5.50 to $7 per person, depending on age and whether the ticket is purchased online or in person. Abma’s Farm is open Monday through Saturday.
