The 45th Annual Dom Mircovich Memorial 5K & Jim O’Halloran Kids Run Run is in Closter on September 6th. The 5K starters at 9:30AM from Memorial Park. This event is one of the oldest 5Ks in north NJ and features a scenic, mostly flat, USATF certified source through Closter along with a Kids Fun Run for 12 and under.

PBA Local 388 5K Run/1 Mile Walk Fundraiser

PBA Local 388 5K Run/1-Mile Walk Fundraiser is in Fort Lee on Saturday, September 12. As well as the 5K along the scenic Henry Hudson Drive, the event will feature a family friendly 1 mile walk. Proceeds support PBA Local 388’s charitable initiatives and community outreach programs.

The Cresskill 5K takes place on September 27th. The 5K starts at 9AM from the Benedict Romeo Community Center. The USATF certified race will benefit the Cresskill Health and Wellness Foundation and the Badges & Books Relief Project. The event will also feature a Kids Fun Run, Diaper Dash, live music and refreshments for all age groups.

Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund 11th Annual Join hands 5K is in Ridgewood on Sunday, September 27th. The family friendly race raises money for Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund, which provides financial, emotional and practical support to children with cancer and blood disorders and their families.

Old Tappan Emergency Services Superhero Superhero 5K is in Old Tappan on October 4th. The 5K begins at 9AM and participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superheroes while supporting the Old Tappan Fire Department, Ambulance Corps and Police Department. The event will also have a free Sidekick Kiddie Dash for younger kids.

Walk & Run for Women’s Cancers takes place in Paramus on Sunday, October 4th with the 5K walk starting at 10:30AM. The annual fundraiser supports the Lewin Fund to Fight Women’s Cancers, as proceeds help fund cancer research and assistance to patients and their families.

The Croissant & Cafe 5K Run & Walk is in Ridgefield Park on November 1st, with the 5K starting at 10AM from Overpeck Park. Participants will enjoy a fast, scenic course and a finish with fresh croissants, coffee, medals and race shirts. The proceeds benefit a local woman battling brain cancer.

Leonia Turkey Trot 2026

Leonia | November 26th

The Leonia Turkey Trot 2026 is on November 26th, with the 5K starting at 9AM from Leonia High School. It is an annual tradition and welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and features a festive community atmosphere. This 5K is a great way to kick of the holiday before gathering with friends and family.
