About Fado Boutique in Ramsey
Fado is an in-person boutique that opened in 2022 in Ramsey and has been providing the community with a curated selection of chic outfits and accessories for any occasion, in addition to home decor, and small gifts. It sells brands like 525, Daze, Heartloom, Greylin, Good American, Levi’s, and more.
The shop is owned by Jennifer Orsini and Bridget Zuckerberg, who have been best friends since kindergarten and grew up in Lagrange, New York. Bridget told Best of NJ in 2023 that the shop is “LA casual meets New York cool.” Their customer base ranges from teenagers to adults in their sixties. Fado also has a location in Long Island City in Queens under different ownership.
Unfortunately, some good things come to an end, and Fado in Ramsey is entering its final chapter of serving the local community this June, with a closing date of June 30th.
It will be having a closeout sale with the entire store 30% off, including sale racks. The only exception is brand new Pistola Denim, which will have a 20% off sale.

The Fado team shared on Instagram, “After so many years of fashion friendship, laughter, late nights, deliveries, dressing room moments, girls’ nights, sip + shops, holiday events, and seeing your beautiful faces walk through our doors…we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close Fado…If there’s one thing this final chapter has reminded us, it’s how deeply important small businesses truly are. In a world where convenience is fast and easy, there’s still something irreplaceable about shopping local…Small businesses don’t just sell things… they create places people feel connected to.”
