A new pizzeria is entering the Bergen County foodie scene. Di Forno Pizzeria is making moves to open soon in Montvale, serving up wood-fired pizza and other Italian eats. Di Forno Pizzeria’s Arrival in Bergen County
Di Forno Pizzeria is the latest Italian spot to come to Bergen County, and will be located at 4 Chestnut Ridge Road in the town of Montvale.

The pizzeria first announced the news of opening in Montvale on October 26th, 2025 via Instagram:
“The fire’s on, Montvale
Something special’s baking at 4 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
Hand made pies. Real flavor. No shortcuts.”

Another Instagram post from October 28th revealed that the new brick-and-mortar was “Coming Soon” and that “The wait’s almost over, Montvale.”

The family-owned business has since shared several other updates on its Instagram account as it makes moves towards opening, showcasing some of the dishes diners can expect to find at the BYOB restaurant — including focaccia, Italian sandwiches, pizza, arancini, Nutella and cannoli cream bombs, and dessert pizza.

The shopping plaza at 4 Chestnut Ridge Road where the Di Forno will be located is also home to several other businesses, including The Fresh Market, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Gen Sushi + Hibachi, Montvale Nail + Spa, Drop Fitness, a Chase Bank, and more.
The official opening date is unknown as of this writing. The Bergen Girl has reached out to Di Forno Pizzeria and this post will be updated with any further information.
