5 New Businesses in Midland Park, New Jersey for 2025

One of the smaller towns in Bergen County, at only about one square mile, Midland Park has recently seen a surge in new and trending businesses opening. For years, it’s been known for its large number of nail salons and churches, but the last year or so has brought in a variety of businesses from luxury retail shops to boutique fitness studios, and most recently, a chocolate store. Read on for more details on five unique, yet all on the same street (!), new businesses in Midland Park.

Charmed | 218 Godwin Avenue

Charmed started off as a pop-up business, and the team opened its current brick-and-mortar store this past summer. Totally customizable necklaces, bracelets, and even bag charms are available with tons of variety to choose from. The signature charm includes words of affirmation like “happy”, “loved”, or “lucky”, and guests are encouraged to choose the word that speaks to them most. Owner Alina Branda referred to it as “wearing your story around your neck.” In addition to the charm jewelry, they offer permanent jewelry and other gift products. Fun for all ages, the team also hosts private parties as well as other events, including an upcoming wreath-making workshop and Mahjong night. The shop hours change, so be sure to watch the Instagram stories for updates or book an appointment on the website.

Lulu + Bo Boutique | 105 Godwin Avenue, Suite 21

Founded by two sisters, Erica Thomas and Miriam Steketee, and named after their parents, Lulu + Bo Boutique has the warm vibes you’d expect from a family shop. Known for its “luxury + boho” aesthetic, the shop has chic and stylish clothes from both well-known and hard-to-find designers. The pieces also range from everyday items to special occasion statement pieces. While the shop keeps regular hours, you can also book personal styling sessions, sip + shops, and local fundraising events.

Canterly Place

Mindy’s Munchies | 637 Godwin Avenue

Opened in November 2025, Mindy’s Munchies is the newest on the Midland Park scene. Chocolate devotees are likely already familiar with the original Mindy’s that opened in River Vale almost 20 years ago (currently located in Norwood), or its other locations in Morristown, Falmouth, Maine, or Boca Raton, FL. While you can stop by the store and just grab a piece of their handmade chocolate to go, Mindy’s is best known for its gift baskets and platters, a perfect holiday option for anyone on your list. The store even has that hard-to-find Dubai Chocolate. If you’re a peanut butter fan, Team BG recommends the Peanut Butter and Fluff Cups.

The Movement Studio | 216A Godwin Avenue

The Movement Studio started at the US Gym in Mahwah and has now moved to its own permanent space in Midland Park. Its grand opening was held in September, and the boutique fitness studio specializes in bounce, sculpt, step, and dance classes. While the classes may sound intimidating, they have options for all levels, and the instructors have created a warm and welcoming environment. Open seven days a week, there are multiple upbeat classes daily with the option for drop-ins or discounted class packs.

Oradell Animal Hospital

Wonder | 80 Godwin Avenue

If you haven’t heard of Wonder yet, you’ve likely heard of at least one of the many restaurants from all over the country that this new dining concept features. With 20+ different menus to choose from, including Bobby Flay Steak, Detroit Brick Pizza Co, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, and Jota by Jose Andres, Wonder is a dine-in, take-out, and delivery restaurant where everyone in your party can order from any menu they’d like, but still order together. While most of their locations are in the city, Wonder is expanding quickly. Midland Park was their first Bergen County location, but now also opened in Cresskill and Teterboro.
