A Little Refresher on the Grown Ups Movies
The original Grown Ups brought together Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, + Rob Schneider, alongside Salma Hayek Pinault, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello, + more. The cast returned for Grown Ups 2 in 2013, which followed Sandler’s Lenny Feder after moving his family back to his hometown to be closer to his longtime friends.

More than 13 years later, the group is officially reuniting for Grown Ups 3. Netflix confirmed that Sandler, James, Rock, Spade, Schneider, Hayek Pinault, Rudolph, + Bello are among the familiar faces returning. Plot details are still limited, but the third installment will pick up with the group’s kids now grown, giving the longtime friends a chance to set off on another adventure together. Kyle Newacheck, who also directed Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2, is directing the movie. Sandler co-wrote the script with longtime collaborator Tim Herlihy.
Grown Ups 3 Has Been Spotted Around North Jersey
Filming for Grown Ups 3 has been spotted around North Jersey, including Madison + Morristown. One reported location is Rod’s Steak & Seafood Grille inside The Madison Hotel, where Adam Sandler was reportedly filming this week.

Adam Sandler is no stranger to filming in New Jersey. His 2025 Netflix movie Happy Gilmore 2 was filmed at locations across the state, making Grown Ups 3 his latest project to shoot in the Garden State.

When Will Grown Ups 3 Come Out?
There is no official Netflix release date for Grown Ups 3 just yet. What we do know is that filming has officially started in New Jersey, and more locations could pop up as production continues.
