In Upper Saddle River, casting calls sought background actors for exterior scenes intended to create a Midwestern setting. Jason and Sam Rockwell were also spotted filming at Birchwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Cranford. In Ringwood, local police assisted with traffic control while the production worked near Carletondale Road and Green Lake Turnpike. The movie follows George, a farmer whose already difficult day becomes considerably worse when he discovers a body inside his grain bin. He is then drawn into a chaotic cover-up by his boss, Denny. Netflix describes the movie as an unconventional heist story involving a bank guard, a teller, and a master thief caught in a dangerous game of cons and double-crosses. The cast also includes Sean Harris, Moisés Arias, and Justin Kirk.

The upcoming Paramount Pictures movie is a remake of the 1981 psychological horror film of the same name. Possession is being written and directed by Parker Finn, who is best known as the filmmaker behind the Smile franchise. Margaret will take on the lead role originally played by Isabelle Adjani, with Callum Turner, Paul Dano, and Diego Calva also joining the cast.
Rabbit, Rabbit

Work began at the site in January, with filming taking place throughout the spring and into early summer. The thriller follows an escaped convict who takes hostages at a truck stop and becomes locked in a tense confrontation with law enforcement. The Real Housewives of New Jersey

They’re back, and the cameras are rolling. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast and crew were spotted filming around Hoboken during summer 2026, including at The Lola and Pier 13. Camera crews were seen taking over the waterfront deck at The Lola, while members of the cast were also spotted at Pier 13, the seasonal waterfront hangout located at 1301 Sinatra Drive.

The rumored project is reportedly operating under the working title The Leftovers after previously being known as A Shore Thing. The show would follow a group of lifelong New Jersey friends reuniting ahead of the first wedding within their social circle, culminating in an international wedding ceremony.
While the potential project is unrelated to the original Jersey Shore cast, its reported New Jersey setting and connection to SallyAnn’s 495 Productions have already drawn comparisons to the MTV franchise. Netflix has not publicly confirmed specific filming locations or a production timeline as of early August 2026.
Love Is Blind

Could the Love Is Blind pods eventually find a permanent home in New Jersey? A Reddit post shared in spring 2026 claimed that the Netflix dating series could move its pod and reunion production to Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth after the massive Monmouth County campus opens.
According to the unverified post, the change could happen as early as fall 2027. The person behind the post suggested that Netflix may eventually move several productions to the company-owned New Jersey facility as a way to reduce studio rental and production costs.
Netflix has not announced that Love Is Blind is relocating its production to New Jersey, and the Reddit claim should be treated strictly as speculation. The future Fort Monmouth campus is expected to contain multiple soundstages, making it possible that a variety of Netflix movies, scripted series, reality shows, and reunion specials could eventually film there.
