The Grammy-winning singer is scheduled to appear at Foot Locker inside Freehold Raceway Mall this Wednesday, October 21st, 2026, ahead of the launch of her first Vans collection. SZA’s Appearance at Freehold Raceway Mall
SZA’s October 21st visit is scheduled for Foot Locker at Freehold Raceway Mall, located at 3710 Route 9 in Freehold. The singer also shared the appearance on social media, inviting New Jersey fans to meet her at the store.

The stop celebrates VANSZA, her collaboration with Vans, which launches its first collection on October 22nd, 2026. The debut includes footwear and apparel, with styles including the Knu Skool Mule and an updated take on the Authentic sneaker. SZA became the brand’s artistic director in 2025, expanding her creative work beyond music.
SZA’s New Jersey Roots
While SZA was born in St. Louis, Missouri, she grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey, and attended Columbia High School, graduating in 2008 (you may remember that viral time she returned to Village Trattoria in Maplewood and bought students lunch), and also in 2018 for her induction into its Hall of Fame, joining fellow alumna Lauryn Hill.

Her Jersey connections extend to her early jobs as well: before her fame, SZA worked at Village Trattoria in Maplewood and Magic Fit Sneakers in Irvington – which are experiences she shared during her September 2026 New Jersey Hall of Fame induction.
During that ceremony, she summed up her hometown pride: “I love Jersey, every corner of Jersey.” This week – Freehold gets a little of that love.
