September on the Jersey Shore is the best of both worlds: summer isn’t quite over, but the crowds thin, the weather cools, and fall events start to pop up. This month’s calendar includes live music, farmers’ markets, food tours, shopping events, fitness classes, arts + crafts, and plenty of ways to enjoy the Shore before the season officially changes. Whether you’re looking to squeeze in one last day at the beach, shop a local market, catch a concert, or plan a weekend in one of the Shore’s downtowns, this list has something for you this month. Read on for events happening at the Jersey Shore in September 2026.
This is a growing list. We’ll continue to update it as more local events are announced. Know of an event we should add? Email us at [email protected], or add it to our FREE community events calendar here.
