A Guide to Fall Festivals at the Jersey Shore for 2025

The Jersey Shore is renowned for its beaches, boardwalk cuisine, and live music venues. However, a hidden gem of these shore towns is that once fall arrives, so do the festivals (which, in our opinion, are unmatched). The events have something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a quality Oktoberfest, a family-friendly day out, or a festival featuring live music and niche food. Read on to learn more about the 2025 fall lineup of Jersey Shore fall festivals. 

Savor September Festival | 96th Street, Stone Harbor

The Savor September Festival is taking place in downtown Stone Harbor on September 10th. From 11AM to 7PM, live music, entertainment, and food are available. The festival also features beer and wine tastings.

Boots at the Beach | New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood Entertainment District

Boots at the Beach, North Wildwood’s country music festival, is happening on September 12th and 13th. Food, drinks, vendors, line dancing, and live country music are available both days at Seaport Pier. For information on the lineup, schedule, and how to grab tickets, click here.

Sea.Hear.Now. Festival | 1300 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park

Sea.Hear.Now is an annual music, art, and ocean sustainability festival, featuring professional surf competitions in Asbury Park. This year, the September 13th headliner is Hozier, and the September 14th lead is Blink-182. Harvest Brew Fest | 1048 Washington Street, Cape May

Harvest Brew Fest is taking place on September 13th in Cape May. The festival, which is free to attend, is from 10AM to 5PM. Harvest Brew Fest features an all-things-local celebration, spotlighting hometown craft beers and musical talent.

Ocean City Airport Festival | Municipal Airport, 26th + Bay Avenue, Ocean City

The Ocean City Airport Festival is on September 13th. From 10AM to 3PM, the event features a ground display of rare airplanes, ranging from World War II Planes to Classics and Warbirds. The Ocean City Airport Festival also features a parachute jump from Team Fastrax.

Sea Isle Fall Family Festival | 31 John F Kennedy Boulevard, Sea Isle City

The Sea Isle Fall Family Festival is on September 13th. The event is available from 9AM to 4PM. The Sea Isle Fall Family Festival has a craft vendor market, food court, photo booth, face painting, and more.

Irish Fall Festival | New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood

The Irish Fall Festival is in North Wildwood. This three-day annual event, taking place from September 19th to 21st, transforms the Jersey Shore streets into a sea of green with live music, traditional dance, and Irish food options. There will also be a parade, beer gardens, and pubs. For more details, click here.

Fall Harvest Festival | 4263 Atlantic Avenue, Wall Township

The Fall Harvest Festival is happening at The Historic Village at Allaire on September 20th. The event takes place from 10AM to 4PM. The Fall Harvest Festival features seasonal entertainment, crafters, and historical demonstrations.

Asbury Park Fall Bazaar | 1300 Ocean Avenue North Unit C-4, Asbury Park

Asbury Park’s Fall Bazaar takes place on September 27th and 28th from 12PM to 5PM. The two-day festival features 40+ makers, artists, and designers from the Jersey Shore and beyond. There are also kids’ activities, live music, permanent jewelry bars, and foodie favorites. FYI: Asbury Park’s Fall Bazaar is pet-friendly, indoors, and free to attend.

Asbury Park PorchFest | Asbury Park

Asbury Park’s PorchFest is back on September 27th for its ninth annual celebration of local musicians. It’s free admission for anyone to attend, all you’ll need to do is visit the map of porches, which outlines the porch locations of where + when bands and artists are playing (typically music runs from 12PM to 5PM). While it is easily doable to walk from porch to porch listening to music all day long, JSG recommends bringing a bike for even faster transportation. FYI: Rain date is October 5th.

Cape May’s Oktoberfest | Jackson Street, Carpenter Lane, + Beach Avenue, Cape May

Cape May’s annual Oktoberfest is on September 27th. The festival, celebrating Bavarian tradition, is happening on Carpenter Lane between Ocean + Perry, and on Jackson Street between 9AM and 6PM. The street is transformed into a German promenade, complete with authentic music and food, all free for everyone to enjoy. Plus, there are beer gardens, food courts, and artisan tables featuring crafts, antiques, and collectibles.

Olde Time Italian Festival | Fox Park, Wildwood

The Olde Time Italian Festival, in Wildwood, is a free celebration of Italian culture. It takes place on Friday, September 26th, from 5PM until 11PM, and on Saturday, September 27th, from 12PM until 11PM. The Olde Time Italian Festival has rows of vendors showcasing Italian specialties and live music performances both days.

Beach Haven Chowder Cook Off | Taylor Avenue Waterfront, Beach Haven

The Beach Haven Chowder Cook Off takes place at the Taylor Avenue Waterfront in Beach Haven. The two-day Chowder Weekend is back, featuring a merchant market on Saturday, October 4th, and the chowder cook-up on Sunday, October 5th. Attendees will enjoy water views, local vendors, and live music.

Island Beach Fall Fest | Island Beach State Park Swimming Area 1, Berkeley Township

Island Beach Fall Fest runs from 10AM to 4PM on October 5th. The festival, which features fun events like a pet costume parade and contest, is taking place at Swimming Area 1 at Island Beach State Park. The fall fest also includes live music, craft vendors, and food.

LBI Kite Fest | 125 6th Street, Beach Haven

The 11th Annual Kite Fest is held on October 10th + 11th in Beach Haven. Besides the work of kite fliers, who come from across the U.S. and beyond, there are also family-friendly activities like bubble blasts on the beach and an interactive kids’ kite field. Belmar Fall Festival | 700 9th Ave, Belmar

This festival will be held on October 25th, running from 11AM to 5PM. It will be full of festive activities and opportunities to support small businesses attending the event.

Avalon Arts + Seafood Festival | 30th Street + The Beach, Avalon

The Avalon Arts + Seafood Festival is happening on October 11th. From 10AM to 5PM, there will be fresh, local seafood, live music, and artisanal craft and decor vendors to shop. Admission and parking are free, and the scheduled rain date is October 13th.

Ocean City Fall Block Party | 5th-14th Streets on Asbury Avenue, Ocean City

The Ocean City Fall Block Party is happening on October 11th. From 5th to 14th Street on Asbury Avenue, there are over 400 food vendors, crafters, musicians, and more. The Ocean City Fall Block Party runs from 9AM to 5PM. 

New Jersey Audobon’s Cape May Fall Festival | Cape May Convention Hall

Cape May’s Fall Festival runs from October 16th to October 19th. It’s located at the Cape May Convention Hall, featuring international birding tour companies, publishers and magazines, artists, and leading optics brands. Admission is free, and this year’s keynote speaker is Kenn Kaufman, whose latest book is The Birds Audubon Missed

Long Branch Fall Festival + Pooch Parade | 15 Morris Avenue #Unit 119, Long Branch

The Long Branch Fall Festival + Pooch Parade is on October 18th. The event is at Pier Village from 12PM to 4PM. The Long Branch Fall Festival and Porch Parade features live music and fall activities, including pumpkin carving demonstrations, psychic readings, and trick-or-treating. The Pooch Parade includes a costume contest and other pet-friendly events.

Monmouth Moms Fall Festival | 101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel Township

The Monmouth Moms Fall Festival takes place at Bell Works on October 19th. The event is from 11AM to 3PM and is free to attend. The Monmouth Mom Fall Festival features food, music, games, a touch-a-truck area, vendors, and other autumn-themed activities.

Fall Bazaar | 15 2nd Avenue, Long Branch

The Fall Bazaar is on Saturday, October 26th, from 12PM to 5PM at The Whitechapel Projects. It’s a celebration of local artisans, crafts,  and treats. The fall bazaar features kid-friendly activities and live music in a festive fall setting.
