There is something about mobile food that is just fun. Food trucks have a passionate following because they bring a sense of community by providing a way to dive into a different food culture without sitting down at a formal restaurant. The Jersey Shore has accumulated various food trucks that attend festivals, are hired for events, or are found daily in some of those beloved beach towns. The Jersey Shore Girl went looking for some of our favorite Jersey Shore-originated food trucks, and we compiled a list of some of our favorites. Betty’s Icebox | North Eats: Ocean Avenue Boardwalk, Asbury Park
Betty’s Icebox serves gourmet ice pops and house-made shaved ice cream. It has a storefront in Asbury Park’s Convention Hall. Still, in the summer, it has a food truck stationed at North Eats, the food truck court located on the corner of Seventh and Ocean Avenue. The food truck has a cute chalkboard that states the daily ice pop and shaved ice cream flavors that customers can select to eat before heading to the beach.
Boho Bites | 1079 Bayview Avenue, Bayville
Boho Bites is a healthy alternative food truck. Boho Bites uses farm-fresh veggies from local farmers’ markets, and its menu features items that will make customers feel like they are getting a healthy home-cooked meal, but on the go. Boho Bites is available for events and private parties throughout New Jersey. Its Instagram updates with where it will be for that particular weekend. This nutrient-focused food truck also includes a meal prep option, focusing on 400-450 calorie meals that customers can use immediately for lunches and dinners or freeze to eat later. Starting in September, the meal preps will be ready for pickup at the above Bayville address.

Five Sisters Food Co.

Five Sisters Food Co. serves craft burgers, fat sandwiches, loaded fries, and authentic BBQ. Five sisters and their parents, Libby and George Miller of Little Egg Harbor, operate this family-run food truck, which can be found at various festivals and special events, especially weddings, throughout New Jersey.
Harry’s Smokin BBQ
Harry’s Smokin BBQ is a food truck available for events and private parties. It has burgers, cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, pulled pork, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Harry’s Smokin BBQ has fried sides like tater tots, mac n cheese bites, corn nuggets + french fries. JSG recommends dipping them in one of its many sauces. FYI: a budget menu is a fun feature of this BBQ food truck — its storefront restaurant is also opening in Toms River soon.
Hula Grill | Ocean Avenue Boardwalk, Bradley Beach
Located on the boardwalk, just steps away from the sand of Bradley Beach on Brinley and Ocean Avenue, is Hula Grill. This laid-back food truck serves sandwiches, wraps, and acai bowls. It also serves refreshing drinks for the beach, such as smoothies, lemonades, and iced teas. For those who want a sweet treat, it has ice cream and Italian ice on its menu as well.
Jersey Roll
Jersey Roll started in 2015 as a food truck that served NJ’s favorite pork roll, egg, cheese, and other cool twists on breakfast meat. It now has a storefront restaurant in Seaside Heights that serves breakfast sandwiches, burgers, fat sandwiches, and snacks. At present, Jersey Roll’s food truck is used to cater events.
Johnny’s Pork Roll + Coffee Too | North Eats: Ocean Avenue Boardwalk, Asbury Park
Another Asbury Park’s North Eats food court member is Johnny’s Pork Roll and Coffee Too. As its name broadcasts, Johnny’s Pork Roll and Coffee Too serves different variations of pork roll + cheese sammies. It also has iced coffee brewed with Asbury Park Roastery’s help. Besides those famous NJ sandwiches, customers can grab variations of fried sides to eat at the court or bring onto the beach.

Jonnie G’s Food Truck originated in Monmouth County in 2003. It is a private caterer for any event or party. Jonnie G’s serves up classic munchie foods like burgers, hot dogs, fries, and mozzarella sticks. Customers can select from one of Jonnie G’s party packages here.
Kiersten’s Creations
Kiersten’s Creations is a food truck that satisfies all those sweet tooth cravings with its desserts. Kiersten has a brick-and-mortar bakery in Point Pleasant, but its food truck is available for catering and events. Lonnie Lou’s | 1010 Ocean Avenue, Bradley Beach
Lonnie Lou’s is a community staple ice cream truck on Bradley Beach’s boardwalk. This food truck is stationed at the Newark Avenue beach entrance. It has hard + soft ice cream, custom toppings, and refreshing drinks to enjoy for a day by the shore. Those interested can also hire Lonnie Lou’s for a private event.
No Limits Cafe

No Limits Cafe is a lunch food spot in Red Bank that employs adults with intellectual disabilities. No Limits now has its own food truck, Hazel, which is available to cater events across New Jersey. It specializes in grilled cheeses, but also has fun selections like hot dogs, burgers, and soups.
Ohana Grill
Ohana Grill brings the taste of Hawaii to the Jersey Shore. It is a food truck based in Lavallette that circulates New Jersey to various food truck festivals and private events. It serves up coastal selections like lobster rolls, crispy fish tacos, and blackened shrimp tacos. Ohana Grill also serves food from the land, such as chicken and waffles and chicken fingers.
Ono Bowls Food Truck | Pop’s Coffee Shop, Seaside Heights

Ono Bowls Food Truck was created in 2019 by two high school seniors who had a mission to spread health to the Jersey Shore. This bright pink truck is stationed in front of Pop’s Coffee in Seaside Heights and is open from 9AM to 3PM during the week, and on the weekends, it’s extended until 4PM. The hip truck has Hawaiian-inspired goodies like acai + pitaya, bowls, smoothies, + specialties like the wheatgrass shots. Ono Bowls aims to give customers a healthy meal, so it has features like its Rawnola, which is its own homemade granola found in all bowls. Santo Ceviche

Santo Ceviche is a food truck that serves fresh and flavorful ceviches. It is available for private or corporate event rental, but it also has a brick-and-mortar location in Belmar. In addition to ceviches, Santo Ceviche’s menu includes items like shrimp tacos, pork belly buns, and stuffed mussels. If Santo Ceviche is hired to cater an event, it will tailor its menu to include the customer’s desired dishes.
Seabreeze Pizza
Seabreeze Pizza is a food truck that pops up at festivals, breweries, and events around New Jersey. This truck serves traditional pizza and breakfast pizzas. Seabreeze Pizza also often has a variety of appetizers, like wings, mozzarella sticks, and fried ravioli, but remember to also top this all off with one of its desserts.
Senor Taco | North Eats: Ocean Avenue Boardwalk, Asbury Park
Senor Taco is a Mexican food truck at North Eats in Asbury Park. Its menu includes burritos, birria, quesadillas, and tacos. It serves fun drinks such as sangria, which is prepared with tajin and chamoy, a mix of savory sauces and condiments made from pickled fruit in Mexican cuisine.

Shore Good Eats is a food truck from Neptune City that is often hired for events like weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries. Its menu includes casual and fun items like egg rolls, tacos, grilled cheese, sandwiches, and other fried sides. For dessert, JSG recommends its dessert egg rolls or mini apple pies.
Sprout House | North Eats: Ocean Avenue Boardwalk, Asbury Park
Another member of the Asbury Park food court at North Eats is Sprout House. This mobile trailer is a vegan and vegetarian kitchen specializing in locally sourced items. It serves sandwiches, poke bowls, salads, brunch-style foods, desserts, superfood smoothies, and lattes.

Zamm Foods | North Eats: Ocean Avenue Boardwalk, Asbury Park
Continuing with the North Eats food court lineup is Zamm Foods. This food truck covers all food cravings from land and sea. Its menu includes a chicken cheesesteak and a salmon cheesesteak, hamburgers, turkey burgers, fish and chips, and wings. It also has french fries, kabobs, and drinks for purchase.
Zappa Food Truck | North Eats: Ocean Avenue Boardwalk, Asbury Park
Wrapping up the North Eats food scene is Zappa. The Zappa Food Truck has Signature Zappas, which are toasted baguette sandwiches in different variations. A Classic, Polish, Italian, Swedish, or Mexican Zappa can be purchased. Zappa also has different menu items like hot dogs, corn on the cob, and pierogies.
