The Jersey Shore Girl realized there were so many HH options down the shore that we decided to create a list of some of our favorites to make it easier for you to select where to go the next time you need a midweek pick-me-up. Asbury Park

Azure Bar + Restaurant | 1401 Ocean Avenue North

Azure Bar + Restaurant is a new brunch and dinner spot with performances, hookah, and a beach party atmosphere. Azure’s happy hour is from 4PM to 7PM Monday through Friday. The deal includes 50% off drinks, and there are food specials to check out during this time.

Barrio Costero | 610 Bangs Avenue

Barrio Costero is an elevated Mexican restaurant located in downtown Asbury Park. The highlight deal is its Taco Tuesdays: two tacos + a marg for $17. It also has a happy hour on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4PM to 6PM. If running late, its happy hour on Thursdays lasts until closing.

The Black Swan | 601 Mattison Avenue

The Black Swan has its happy hour from 3PM to 10PM on Tuesday. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, HH is from 3PM to 6PM. The discount gives customers 50% off all alcohol except bottles of wine. There are also discounted food options like perogies, baked brie cheese, and bacon cheddar tots.

Reyla is a Middle Eastern restaurant known for its shareable plates. Wednesday is the day to visit Reyla for happy hour, as it’s available all night. The deal has certain cocktails at nine dollars, and the wine is seven dollars. For wine lovers, come on a Thursday for its ‘Wine On Us’ night — get a bottle of wine for free on Reyla whenever diners order a salatim + two plates.

Atlantic Highlands

One Willow, a restaurant with a pretty water view, is located in the Atlantic Highlands, the shore town with a convenient commute to Manhattan. Happy hour takes place Monday through Friday from 4PM to 6PM. Beer drinkers will like that all drafts are six dollars, and a Miller Lite bottle or a Narragansett can is only three dollars. Those who aren’t into beer can get select wines and spirits for six bucks, and there are two cocktail options for seven. Everything on its happy hour food menu is nine dollars, including items like vegetable spring rolls, wings, and crispy eggplant.

On the Deck | 10 Simon Lake Drive

Happy hour at On the Deck provides a view of the NYC skyline along with food + drink specials. Its happy hour is from 3PM to 6PM. Some of its drink deals are Miller Light drafts for three dollars, house wine for six, and a sangria pitcher for $22 (on Sundays, get that same sangria pitcher deal all night). Mondays here are for Nutrls — get the pineapple or watermelon flavors for five dollars. The snacks during its standard HH time include fun options like mozzarella sticks, spinach dip, and nachos at a discounted rate.

Belmar

801 Craft Kitchen is a Belmar cocktail lounge, bar, and restaurant. Its happy hour deal is available Thursday through Saturday, from 5PM to 7PM at the bar only. The drink deal here has ten-dollar specialty cocktails, seven-dollar haus wine, and five-dollar Beach Haus craft beer. 801 Craft Kitchen also has fun bites at a discounted rate — there are salads, wings, and Italian flatbread.

10th Ave Burrito Co. is a festive Mexican restaurant that often has live music. Its happy hour is available Monday through Thursday (at the bar) from 11AM (for those early risers) to 5PM. But JSG loves that on Wednesdays HH is all day, and patrons can even get the deal while dining in the restaurant. The beer deal is three dollars for domestic beers, five for imported, and six for craft beers. The wine + well drinks are also five dollars, Altos shots are four dollars, and Corralego shots are five dollars. Customers can take in the Mexican flavors by ordering a La Casa margarita for seven bucks or grabbing some nachos and Mexican corn bites for five dollars.

Anchor Tavern | 713 Main Street

Anchor Tavern is a downtown Belmar restaurant that often has live music. It has happy hour every day of the week: Monday through Friday it takes place from 11:30AM to 5PM; on Saturday, it’s from 1PM to 5PM; and on Sundays, customers can get the deal all day long. The plates range from six dollars to ten and include snackables like onion dip, cheeseburger sliders, and fried mozzarella. As for drinks-domestic drafts are three-fifty, and the bottles are four. Or, get a Heineken for four, Kane High for eight, and a Guinness pint for seven. For anyone who prefers spirits, grab a seasonal sangria for ten, vanilla bean old-fashioned for eleven, and Tito’s mixed cocktails for seven.

Jacks By The Tracks | 703 10th Avenue

Jacks By The Tracks is another Belmar spot to check out for happy hour. It has happy hour Mondays through Fridays from 11:30AM to 4PM. JSG loves the food deal during this time, which allows all customers to buy one, get one half-off appetizers. As for beer, Jacks By The Tracks has two dollars off premium drafts and three dollars off domestic light drafts. All well drinks are five bucks, as are the house wine options.

Bradley Beach

Elbow Room | 416 Main Street, Bradley Beach

Lavallette

Castaway’s Pub | 76 Grand Central Avenue, Lavallette

Castaway’s Pub is a local favorite, serving burgers, seafood, and beer. It often has live music and has a fun patio bar. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3PM to 6PM, and drink and food specials are available at a discounted rate.

The Crab’s Claw Inn | 601 Grand Central Avenue, Lavallette

JSG’s favorite HH plate options include buffalo chicken dip, margarita flatbread, and fried pickles. It also has three dollars and fifty-cent draft beer and house cocktails for seven dollars. The Robinson Ale House has sangria for eight dollars (by the glass) or $28 for a pitcher during its happy hour.

Surfside Beach Bar | 23 Ocean Avenue North, Long Branch

Surfside Beach Bar is a fun option for beach vibes during happy hour in Long Branch. Its happy hour is from 4PM to 7PM, during the week on Mondays through Thursdays. The deal includes four-dollar domestic beer, six-dollar orange crush, and eight-dollar Surfside. Or, Surfside Beach Bar helps customers get energized mid-week with six-dollar orange crushes all day on Wednesdays.

Point Pleasant

Amendment 21 is a craft beer and boutique spirit bar. On Mondays through Fridays, it has its happy hour from 12PM to 4PM. The specials list 16-ounce domestic cants at three dollars, well drinks at five dollars, and house wine at six. Amendment 21 also has a rotating selection of appetizers for seven dollars.

B2 Bistro + Bar | 709 Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach

B2 Bistro + Bar has its happy hour Monday through Friday from four to seven + on Sundays the deal takes place all day. FYI: The happy hour is for dine-in only, and no substitutions are allowed. The bites on the menu range from ten to twelve dollars and include fun options like a Bavarian pretzel, cheese pizza, and short rib nachos. Its ‘happy sips’ deal has house-made cocktails and house wines for seven dollars (except for the red blend for eight). The draft beers are all two dollars off, and the canned beers like Miller Lite and Yuengling Lager are one dollar off.

Frankie’s Bar + Grill | 414 Richmond Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach

Four Winds Restaurant is a Manasquan restaurant that has happy hour every day of the week from 2PM to 6PM. FYI: This deal is only available at the bar; no substitutions are allowed, and it isn’t available on holidays/select days, so JSG recommends calling ahead. The food on the menu is priced anywhere from five dollars + fifty cents to nine dollars + fifty cents. Some of the items JSG loves include its mini reuben, potato skins, and fried calamari. As for the drinks, house wine and well drinks are five dollars + fifty cents, and the Kane Head High is six dollars.

Reef + Barrel | 53 Sea Girt Avenue, Manasquan

Early risers will want to go to Reef + Barrel for its happy hour, which begins at 11AM and continues until 6PM on Mondays through Fridays. The drink deal during this time includes: domestic drafts for two dollars + fifty cents (bottles are one dollar more), and house drinks + wine are five bucks. From 3PM to 5PM, customers get 25% off all appetizers. Another local favorite is Miller High Life, which is a dollar + ninety-nine cents all day, every day.

Sea Girt

Rod’s Tavern | 507 Washington Boulevard, Sea Girt
