Arrowhead Inn | 2071 NJ-88, Brick Township
Hours: Open daily from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM
Arrowhead Inn is a neighborhood bar in Brick. A Jersey Shore classic bar established in 1952, Arrowhead has all the dive bar entertainment necessities like darts, pool, and shuffleboard. Arrowhead also often has weekend bands, and it updates its Instagram with details on who is bartending so locals can stay in the know.
Baker’s Port Hole LBI | 1620 Long Beach Boulevard, Ship Bottom
Hours: Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM + Friday to Saturday: 11:00 AM to 1:30 AM
Baker’s Port Hole is a local, low-key bar in Ship Bottom. It’s a staple for any dive-bar tour, having been around since 1936. Baker’s has indoor and outdoor seating, and it also has a liquor store attached, making it easy to take a drink to-go. A must-try menu item is Leo’s “World Famous,” a hot roast beef sandwich that everyone raves about. FYI: This is a cash-only spot, like many classic dives, but there’s an ATM available if you only have your credit card.

Bond Street Bar Asbury Park | 208 Bond Street, Asbury Park
Hours: Open daily from 12:00 PM to 1:30 AM
Bond Street is a watering hole in downtown Asbury Park. It has a grunge aesthetic and is known for its grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers, and fried uncrustables. Bond Street is also beloved for its drink specials, like the Dennis Hopper, which is a PBR and a shot of house whisky for seven dollars. IYKYK: Bond Street is cash only, and if you go through the corner door, it leads to an alley that takes you to the Bond Street Basement, a local spot hosting DJs, bands, and plenty of dancing.
Broadway Bar and Grill | 106 Randall Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach
Hours: Open daily from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM
Broadway Bar and Grill is a family-owned bar in Point Pleasant Beach. Broadway is an old-school style bar that has been around for 35 years. It often has live music, and its proximity to the ocean creates a coastal dive bar atmosphere. Broadway Bar and Grill also has TVs to watch sports games, outdoor seating, and locals love the wings.
D’Arcy’s Tavern | 310 Main Street, Bradley Beach

Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM + Saturday to Sunday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 AM
D’Arcy’s Tavern is in Bradley Beach. D’Arcy’s is recognized as a soccer bar as all matches are shown live, and the entire location is decorated with soccer banners. D’Arcy’s has a prime rib and red wine night on Wednesdays, starting at 5:00 PM, featuring a specialty menu and discounted rates.
Georgie’s Bar | 810 Fifth Avenue, Asbury Park
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Friday to Saturday: 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM + Sunday: 1:00 PM-2:00 AM
Georgie’s is a low-key LGBTQ dive bar located in Uptown Asbury Park. It’s loved for its karaoke nights, drag shows, and live music. Hudson House Bar | 19 East 13th Street, Beach Haven

Hours: Open Fridays + Saturdays from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM
Hudson House is located on a side street in Beach Haven. Hudhouse House is a no-frills bar known to its loyalists as “The Hud.” It has an extensive beer selection, shuffleboard, and unpretentious old-school bar decor. Hudson House is cash only (ATM on site), and there’s a juke box for customers to personalize the playlist for the night.
Jumping Brook Spirits Liquor Store + Bar | 3701 Route 33, Tinton Falls
Hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM
Jumping Brook is a liquor store and bar in Tinton Falls. Customers walk through the liquor store to reach the bar section in the back. Food options include chips, cheese doodles, and Slim Jims. Plus, there’s a jukebox and TVs to complete the dive bar experience.
Kim Marie’s Eat n’ Drink Away | 1411 Kingsley Street, Asbury Park
Hours: Open daily from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM
Kim Marie’s is an American pub in Asbury Park. It features Irish-style comfort food and has sidewalk seating, as well as a side alley that serves as a local hangout space for chatting and drinking (IYKYK, sometimes the alley is more crowded than the inside). Kim Marie’s is known for its $5 Guinness and its Happy Hour (available every weekday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM). FYI: Kim’s also has Truly on tap, which we all know is a rare find.
Miracle Pub | 201 Route 37, Toms River
Hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Miracle Pub is an old-school style sports bar in Toms River. It has 19 TVs, beers on tap, and a happy hour from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM on Mondays-Fridays (featuring wings and tenders for 99 cents each). Miracle Pub also has an ultimate breakfast menu, available daily, that comes with a complimentary drink.
Nip N Tuck Bar + Grill | 23 Norwood Avenue, Long Branch
Hours: Open daily from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM
Nip N Tuck is a neighborhood bar + grill in Long Branch. It carries local and craft brews, a boxing punching bag game, Big Buck Hunter, a lottery, and yard games outside. Nip N Tuck also hosts events like Open Mic Mondays, Trivia Tuesday with Jeopardy Bar League, and every third Friday of the month, there is a DJ. Nip N Tuck has happy hour Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and a late-night happy hour Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

Riggers Bar | 519 Boulevard, Seaside Heights
Hours: Open daily from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM
Riggers Bar is a local watering hole in Seaside Heights. Riggers allows outside food, is dog-friendly, and has fun games like ping pong, pool, and shuffleboard. It’s also recognized for its Breakfast Club featuring five-dollar Miller Lite drafts and bloody mary specials, and a complimentary breakfast sandwich with a drink on Saturday and Sunday mornings, available at 7:00 AM-11:00 AM.
Ship n’ Shore | 434 West Montgomery Avenue, Wildwood
Hours: Sunday: 10:00 AM-12:00 AM, Monday to Tuesday: 10:00 AM-1:00 AM, Wednesday to Saturday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
Ship n’ Shore is in Wildwood. It overlooks Otten’s Harbor, featuring classic bar bites such as its homemade burgers, apps, and pizza. Ship n’ Shore specials include: Monday – Cheesesteak and fries for $3.50, Tuesday – burger and fries for $4.50, Wednesday — 10 wings for $3.50, and Thursday — personal pizza for $3.50 (toppings extra).
Ugly Mug | 426 Washington Street, Cape May
Hours: Open daily from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM
The Ugly Mug is a bar and restaurant in Cape May. The ceiling of the bar is covered with mugs, recognizing the members of the Ugly Mug Club, and adding to the community-type environment of Ugly Mug. Its menu features classic comfort food options, and the bar often has live music.
Westside Saloon | 770 West Glenwood Avenue, West Wildwood
Hours: Monday to Friday: 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Saturday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM, + Sunday: 9:00 AM to 2:30 AM
Westside Saloon is a sports bar in West Wildwood. With dollar bills hanging from the ceiling and leather stools, its aesthetic screams dive bar. JSG recommends trying one of its cocktail ‘crushes’, available in orange, grapefruit, pineapple, and other fruit flavors.
