Halloween Events Happening at the Jersey Shore for 2025

October is known as spooky season — which means we’re on the hunt for haunted-themed activities. Some of us prefer to get scared during haunted houses, others are looking for family-friendly trick-or-treat events, and others are looking for an opportunity to dive into the history of haunted locations. No matter what vibe you’re looking for, the Jersey Shore has an event that will fulfill those witching hour cravings. Read on to learn more about the 2025 lineup of Halloween events at the Jersey Shore.

Asbury Park Halloween Food Truck + Music Festival | 101 5th Avenue, Asbury Park

The Asbury Park Halloween Food Truck + Music Festival is taking place at Bradley Park. It’s happening on October 25th-26th, 11AM-7PM. Admission is $5, and children under ten get in free. The Asbury Park Halloween Food Truck + Music Festival has 20 gourmet food trucks, an adult beverage garden, costume contests, live bands, kid activities, and a vendor shopping village.

Boo at the Boardwalk | 300 Ocean Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach

Boo at the Boardwalk is happening at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk. The event is on October 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th from 12PM-4PM. Boo at the Boardwalk features trick-or-treating, amusement rides, live shows, and hands-on activities for kids of all ages. Brookdale Haunted Theater | 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft

The Haunted Theater is an annual event held at Brookdale Community College campus in Lincroft. Its Performing Arts Center transforms into a haunted house featuring an interactive storyline, with multiple rooms filled with special effects and actors meant to cater to all visitors’ fears, tailored for all ages. Cape May County Halloween Events | Cape May, New Jersey

Cape May County has plenty of events continuing until Halloween. Cape May is the go-to location for festive vibes. There’s everything from fall pumpkin parties to Halloween parades, block parties, and even a Boo at the Zoo event at Cape May County Zoo. To learn more about all the spooktacular events, click here.

Cape May Halloween Happenings | Cape May, New Jersey

Cape May Music, Arts, and Culture hosts an array of Halloween Happenings from October 1st to 31st. Those interested can explore historic Cape May through ghost trolley tours, murder mystery dinners, and more. There are plenty of tours to purchase. Click here to see the complete list.  

Casola Farms Haunted Attractions | 131 South Main Street, Marlboro Township

C.Casola Farms is located in Marlboro Township. During the fall season, it runs its Haunted Attractions — including the Haunted Hayride of Terror, 3D Haunted Barn, The Living Maze, and Marlboro Zombie Breakout. C. Freehold Spooktacular | Freehold Borough

Freehold Borough will host a series of Halloween Spooktacular events this year. There are fun activities like movie nights, haunted hayrides, house decorating contests, and more. All events are free and open to the public. For more details, click here

Halloween Fun Fest | 750 North Bay Avenue, Beach Haven

The Halloween Fun Fest will unfold  at Fantasy Island Amusement Park in Beach Haven. The 2025 fest dates are set for October 18th, 10AM-2PM. The Halloween Fun Fest includes a trick-or-treat trail, pumpkin patch, rides, and more. To register for a fun fest date and purchase tickets now, click here.

Jersey Shore Ghost Tours | Red Bank + Keyport

Jersey Shore Ghost Tours leads walking, lantern-lit tours of historic Keyport and Red Bank. The Keyport tour starts at The Parlour and takes guests through the waterfront promenade, and the Red Bank tour meets at The Dublin House (which happens to be the home of Red Bank’s most well-known ghost). Ocean City Halloween Events | Ocean City, New Jersey

Pier Village Halloween Spooktacular | 155 Ocean Avenue North, Long Branch

Pier Village Halloween Spooktacular is happening at the Carousel Stage in Pier Village. The event is on October 25th from 1PM to 5PM. Pier Village Halloween Spooktacular includes family-friendly entertainment and attractions, face painting, psychic and tarot readings, ghoulish carousel rides, and more.

Sea Isle Halloween Parade + Dance Party | 2 41st Street, Sea Isle City

The Sea Isle Halloween Parade + Dance Party is on October 17th. The parade starts at 7PM from 45th to 40th streets along Landis Avenue. After the parade, the dance party is at Excursion Park.

Scare Away Stigma Trunk or Treat | 101 Hooper Avenue, Toms River

The Ocean City Mental Health Awareness Committee hosts the Scare Away Stigma Trunk or Treat on October 22nd. It’s taking place on the fourth floor of the Ocean County Parking Garage from 6PM to 8PM. The Scare Away Stigma Trunk or Treat is a spooky night of fun that brings awareness to the stigmas surrounding mental health.

Surf City Hotel Halloween Party | 800 Long Beach Boulevard, Surf City

The Surf City Hotel Halloween Party is on October 31st. The night begins at 9PM and features live music from The Danksters. The Surf City Hotel Halloween Party is free to attend. For more information, click here.

Villain’s Halloween Costume Party | 800 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights

Villain’s Halloween Costume Party is happening at the Casino Pier Arcade on October 26th. The party includes judges for a costume contest, plus a Trick-or-Treat Trail through the arcade. Villain’s Halloween Costume Party is from 1PM to 3PM. For more details, click here
