Adoptable shepherd mix Lucy Jane would be a perfect companion for your Hot Person walk. She walks nicely on a leash, is unfazed by traffic or other dogs, and she has fabulous hair. Meet Lucy Jane
Lucy Jane is a 1.5-year-old shepherd mix weighing approximately 39 pounds. She is a confident and outgoing pup who approaches the world with plenty of tail wags and happy energy. The social pup loves getting outside and exploring. Lucy Jane walks well on a leash and tends to keep a brisk pace, while still responding well to direction. She is comfortable around people, other dogs, and traffic, though squirrels might catch her attention along the way.
Playtime is a big part of Lucy Jane’s personality. Toys, zoomies, and bouncing around are among some of her favorite activities, but she also enjoys slowing down for pets and cuddles. Lucy Jane isn’t shy about letting her humans know when she thinks it’s time for a treat or another round of playtime, either. With her outgoing personality and high-energy nature, the rescue says Lucy Jane would do well with an active family that can provide plenty of exercise, engagement, and love.

Lucy Jane is currently available for adoption through the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation. Her adoption fee is $475, and she is also available to foster.
