Dear Fairfax Girl readers and friends,
According to the calendar, we’re nearing the end of 2025, which feels a bit like a gift already. This year has had its ups and downs, with so many things happening that are unique to life in Northern Virginia – motorcade traffic jams, wild weather, and Congressional fun, for example.
We have truly enjoyed sharing our community with you. Thank you for every like, comment, share, and repost. Thank you for the encouragement and interaction as we explore what makes where we live so interesting, which includes the good and the challenging.
We’re taking a break, and we hope you do too. Hopefully, this is the sign you need to know that it’s okay to rest. It’s so important to recharge. Watch that reality show, read that book, clean that closet – whatever makes you feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to start 2026 on a positive note.
