Melanie is a recent graduate from George Mason University where she studied communication and journalism. She was born in Fairfax and raised in neighboring Loudoun County, and her favorite stories to write are those that highlight local business owners who shape the community she calls home. When she’s not working, she enjoys watching documentaries, reading thrillers, and trying new arts and crafts.
