Westwoof by Groomington is gearing up to open at 15 Westwood Avenue in Westwood on September 15th, with a grand opening set for September 20th. Westwoof by Groomington first announced the news of its Westwood store on May 19th, 2025 via Instagram.

The cat’s officially outta the bag (but we will see you at our monthly Cat Day)… and the dogs are movin’ in.

Our friends over at @doggieroadtrippin then revealed the opening date this week. The new dog boutique and cafe will make its debut on Monday, September 15th, with a grand opening party set for Saturday, September 20th. Westwoof also announced the news on its Instagram, and said the store will be open starting at 9AM on the 15th. Opening day will include giveaways, treats, fun surprises, and more.

Owned by the same team behind Groomington Coat Factory and Groomington Eats in Midland Park, Westwoof by Groomington is a pet specialty store and cafe that has grooming services, gourmet dog food, and dog clothing items. For the treats, customers can expect to find a full chew bar, dog slushies, and other fun treats. The clothing section will include stylish dog clothing items, all made by owner Cait Lauria.

The owners behind this spot shared with BG that customers will not only be able to order food for their pups, but also a meal for themselves from other local restaurants. Throughout the year, patrons can also look forward to events such as canine first aid and CPR training, as well as fun activities like dog treat decorating and dog lover speed dating.

Westwoof by Groomington will be open once a month on a Sunday to accommodate cat grooming. That way, feline friends will have so that they have their own private day.
