After opening its first Bergen County location in Edgewater in 2025, the fast-expanding restaurant, bar, and pizzeria is now preparing to open another Bergen County outpost. About Tommy’s Tap & Tavern + The Menu
Founded in Sea Bright in 2015 by Tommy Bonfiglio and his family, Tommy’s Tavern + Tap began as an upscale sports bar rooted in a community-driven atmosphere. Since opening, the brand has expanded beyond its original location, growing to include restaurants throughout New Jersey, as well as locations in New York and Delaware.

At the heart of Tommy’s Tap & Tavern is a menu built to satisfy all, making it an easy choice for group outings + casual dining. The lineup begins with shareable small plates, including classics like guacamole and spinach and artichoke dip, alongside wings and hot honey chicken bites. Lighter options include a variety of salads, from arugula-based bowls to salads topped with ahi tuna, + a standout (trust us) shrimp Cobb. The menu also features pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and even sushi, adding to its broad appeal. Seasonal rotations introduce cozier dishes in the fall and winter, such as chilis and jumbo hot pretzels, while the spring and summer menu options lean lighter.
Following the sudden passing of Tommy Bonfiglio in 2022 at the age of 62, the team and his family have continued to honor his vision and legacy. The ongoing expansions reflect that commitment, ensuring his dream lives on by sharing good food, good vibes, and a welcoming atmosphere with even more communities.
With this upcoming expansion to Paramus, particularly along the side of Route 4, Tommy’s Tap & Tavern is set to become a convenient gathering spot for Bergen County locals. Located just outside Bergen Town Center Mall, the new location provides an easy place to meet up to catch a game, grab a bite, or unwind with drinks. Its placement also makes it a natural stop for a post-shopping meal.
