Paramus will be NRG Adventure Park’s second New Jersey location. The company, which describes itself as a destination for the “thrill seeking, energetic, and adventurous,” currently operates a location at 350 US 22 in Springfield. NRG also lists a Toms River location as “coming soon” on its website.
While the exact attractions planned for the Paramus location have not yet been announced, NRG’s existing parks offer a wide variety of activities for different ages and interests. Attractions listed on the company’s website include trampolines, a ninja course, ropes courses, harnessed climbing, ziplines, a donut slide, a foam pit, dodgeball, basketball, a jousting pit, and an AirTrack court. The parks also offer virtual reality experiences, as well as attractions for younger guests, including soft play, a toddler zone, and a ball pit.
NRG Adventure Park’s Paramus location is expected to open in 2027. An exact opening date, ticket prices, hours, and a complete list of attractions have not yet been announced.
NRG at Paramus Park South
The lease is part of a larger transformation of Paramus Park South. According to Real Estate NJ, the property was acquired last year by a joint venture made up of Heidenberg Properties Group, Red Starr Investments, Norse Realty Group, and DAG Paramus. The ownership group has been working to reposition the property and introduce new uses to the shopping center.

The former Sears space offers NRG a large, open area above an existing grocery anchor. Jamie Sackeim of TSCG represented ownership in the NRG lease, while Jerry Welkis and Stephan Miller of Welco Realty represented NRG.
“This is a rare space to find,” Jamie told Real Estate NJ. “It’s a big, wide-open floor sitting right on top of a grocery anchor, with the Parkway out front and families already coming through the door every day. NRG will turn the upper level into yet another reason to come to Paramus Park South and cement its reputation as a family destination.”
