This Englewood Diner Feels Frozen in Time

The Jackson Hole Diner, located at 362 Grand Avenue in Englewood, started in New York City in 1972, and you can immediately tell when you walk in that the vision has never changed. The Englewood location opened in the 1990s, and the key thing about this spot is that it perfectly blends old-school New Jersey diner culture with New York-style burger-shop energy. Visiting the Jackson Hole Diner

The style of this diner fully leans into the idea of old-school America with chrome finishes, neon lights, retro booths, and so many little details that are noticed immediately when walking inside. One of the best details is definitely the jukeboxes at the tables, which add so much personality and nostalgia to the experience. What makes it even more fun is that the music selection mixes both old and new. The selections include newer artists, including Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, and Post Malone, while still keeping all of the classics that make the diner feel authentic. Between the music, the décor, and the atmosphere, it really feels like the kind of place where people can sit for hours catching up over burgers and milkshakes.

Now diving into the very large menu, there are so many options to choose from that it is honestly overwhelming in the best way. Jackson Hole is mainly known for its huge burgers, all-day breakfast, desserts, and overall extensive menu. No matter what you are craving, chances are they have their own version of it somewhere on the menu.

The Local Girl tried the Santa Fe Bronco, which is a chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese, onion, lettuce, and tomato, along with the Smokehouse BBQ Burger. One of the best things about this place is that your meal will most likely last you the next two days because the portions are huge. Ordering a burger really shows why Jackson Hole has become so well-known over the years and why people continue to come back.

Even though it is technically a diner, the burgers are truly the main event. They are thick, juicy, and cooked right behind the counter, making the experience feel even more authentic. Each burger is said to be around seven ounces, and every order comes with thick-cut steak fries that perfectly fit the classic diner style.

Another great part about the menu is that you could come back multiple times and order something completely different every visit. Whether you want breakfast for dinner, a giant burger, comfort food, milkshakes, or dessert, there is always something new to try.
