The High Line, a piano bar, is set to open above Steel Wheel Tavern, the well-known spot located at 51 North Broad Street in the heart of downtown Ridgewood. Set to bring a more high-end, late-night vibe to the area, this new concept is already generating excitement as a new go-to spot for late-night sips in Bergen County. A New Late-Night Concept Is Taking Shape Upstairs
According to Boozy Burbs, which recently shared renderings of the space, the design leans into a more refined, nightlife-focused atmosphere—providing locals a noticeable difference to the vibe at the downstairs tavern, which is known and loved by locals for its comfortable, divey feel complete with TVs, beers, and classic bar bites.

Boozy Burbs also reported that the concept at The High Line is expected to combine live piano music with a food + cocktail program centered around “elevated small plates,” positioning the space as a go-to late-night destination for drinks, music, and social dining. It’s the kind of concept Ridgewood doesn’t quite have right now—making it an exciting addition for Bergen County locals looking for something new.
