Canterly Place

Half Baked recently teamed up with Honeycomb Credit, a crowdfunding platform that helps small businesses expand through community-based investment. With this support, the bakery made the shift from virtual to in-person, giving longtime customers — and newcomers — a chance to experience the menu in real life.

Cupcakes are also part of the mix, sold by the dozen with prices starting at $30. Cakes come in a wide range of flavors — from vanilla and almond to Funfetti and coconut — and can be customized with different fillings and buttercreams. Popular add-ins include ganache, preserves, cookie crumbles, caramel, and more.

The lineup also includes chocolate-dipped sweets, such as Oreos, crispy rice treats, strawberries, and wafers. Gluten-free options are available across many categories, and prices for these dipped goodies vary based on size, design, and product type.

What to Expect at the Storefront

The Bergen Girl first reported on the new storefront in early June, and as of July, it’s officially open in Mahwah. Chrissy previously shared that initial menu will feature fan favorites like chonkers and cupcakes, along with seasonal specials, soft serve, and fun drinks like “dirty sodas.” With a full kitchen space now available, the menu is expected to grow over time.

There’s also a longer-term goal to introduce classes in the shop, where community members can learn baking techniques straight from Chrissy herself. The hope is to make it a welcoming space where a love of desserts can be both shared and passed on.
