What to Know About the Flag City Fan Fests Coming to Bergen County

The world’s biggest soccer celebration is making its way to Bergen County this summer. In the lead-up to the 2026 World Cup matches at MetLife Stadium, GOYA Presents Flag Cities 2026 will bring an immersive fan festival experience to Overpeck County Park, located at 40 Fort Lee Road in Leonia, New Jersey, on Sunday, June 14th from 11AM to 7PM. The day-long event will feature live match broadcasts, food vendors, entertainment, family-friendly activities, and cultural celebrations inspired by the teams playing in the tournament. GOYA Presents Flag Cities 2026  Bergen County

Per the Flag Cities website, the Bergen County event is part of a larger fan festival series taking place throughout the region during the World Cup tournament.  The Bergen County event will take place at Overpeck County Park, located at 40 Fort Lee Road in Leonia, on Sunday, June 14th, from 11AM to 7PM. Guests can expect a full day of entertainment + activities, including live match broadcasts on large LED screens, international food vendors, food trucks, beverages, beer gardens, DJs, live music, cultural entertainment, soccer clinics, games, and skills activities. Family-friendly kids’ zones + shopping from artisan vendors and merchandise booths will also be part of the festival experience. The event will air two international matches throughout the day: Germany vs. Curacao at 1PM EST and Netherlands vs. Japan at 4PM EST.  According to event organizers, each Flag City festival is uniquely themed around the teams + cultures represented in the upcoming matches, creating a different experience at every event location.

Tickets + Transportation Information

Tickets for the Fa Festival at Overpeck County Park are currently available online.

  • Adult tickets, ages 12+, are $23.10 including fees
  • Child tickets, ages 3-11, are $12.05, including fees
  • Children 2 and under can attend free of charge

Event organizers note that security screenings, including bag inspections and magnetometer checks, will be required before entry. Parking at Overpeck County Park will be limited. Attendees are encouraged to use the complimentary off-site parking and shuttle service available from 40 Fort Lee Road in Leonia.
