Good coffee shops are not hard to come by in Bergen County, but what truly makes a place stand out is when it offers more than just a great cup of coffee. Corner Café, located at 646 Anderson Avenue in Cliffside Park, has long embraced that idea. Originally known as a coffee and boutique hybrid, the space used to invite guests to enjoy a latte while browsing curated jewelry + funky fashion finds throughout the shop. Now, the concept is evolving even further, with plans to fully transform in 2026 from a coffee and boutique destination into a coffee and fitness experience. Read on to learn more about what’s next for this lifestyle-focused spot in Cliffside Park.
A Cozy Community Staple Gets a New Direction
What once operated as a snug café serving Turkish coffee, snacks, and baked goods alongside jewelry, clothing, décor, souvenirs, and knick-knacks quickly became a gem in Cliffside Park. The space was especially popular with locals, functioning not only as a café but also as a cozy work-from-home destination. Many visitors stopped in as much for the cool, giftable items as they did for the coffee, all while supporting a small local business (something Carli from team BG genuinely loved about this spot).

While the upstairs level never operated as an active space, 2026 is bringing a full rebrand, with Corner Café officially transitioning into what will now be known as Corner Club. The team behind Corner Café, which appears to be under new management, reached out to BG via Instagram to share details about the upcoming concept. Corner Club will combine a café on the ground floor with a yoga + Pilates studio operating upstairs.
The former Turkish café is being reimagined as a French-style café, and shared photos reveal a noticeable design shift. The refreshed space adopts a more modern aesthetic, characterized by muted green tones, additional seating, and an overall brighter, more open layout. While the intimate, cozy feel of the former space is evolving, the new concept brings its own charm. The newly reimagined space will open in early 2026.
