Saigon Bistro is set to open at 269 Livingston Street in Northvale, taking over the former Hangry Joe’s space, as first reported by Boozy Burbs. An opening date has not yet been announced. What We Know About Saigon Bistro in Northvale
Saigon Bistro will open at 269 Livingston Street in Northvale, replacing Hangry Joe’s, which previously occupied the space, according to Boozy Burbs. The Northvale outpost will become Saigon Bistro’s third Bergen County location. The restaurant currently operates Bergen County spots in Fair Lawn at 24-08 Fair Lawn Avenue and Cresskill at 6 Madison Avenue, in addition to two Jersey City locations.

About Saigon Bistro + The Menu
Saigon Bistro describes its food as rooted in southern Vietnamese cuisine, with recipes inspired by traditions passed down through generations. The restaurant’s original location is in Jersey City Heights at 514 Central Avenue. The growing local concept says its goal is to put a contemporary spin on Vietnamese classics while still paying homage to staples like pho and banh mi.
The menu at Saigon Bistro includes appetizers like spring rolls and summer rolls, along with Vietnamese-inspired soups, noodle dishes, platters, and other comfort-food options.

Pho is one of the restaurant’s specialties, including beef pho made with slow-cooked broth, charred onions, roasted ginger, star anise, cinnamon, herbs, and spices. The pho combo adds thinly sliced beef, brisket, beef balls, tendon, and tripe. Other options include vermicelli platters, banh mi, coconut curry dishes, and a variety of meat and vegetarian selections.
