About Root to Rise

Root to Rise is a new fitness studio coming to North Arlington with a unique concept: blending wellness and coffee. It mixes the satisfaction that comes from a good workout sesh and a little treat, featuring an on-site coffee bar to try out after classes.

Founder Eddiana created Root to Rise to support those seeking growth through fitness in a non-judgmental space. After a period of feeling frustrated and disconnected from her health, Eddiana found that yoga had “transformed her life” and wanted to bring the same opportunity to Bergen County locals.

The studio is split between “heated” and “non-heated” workouts, with a workout atmosphere for all clients. Some of Root to Rise’s heated workouts include hot yoga, hot Pilates, and hot stretch classes, which aim to collectively build endurance, flexibility, and deep recovery. There are more traditional alternatives as well, including classical + contemporary Pilates to yoga sessions focusing on alignment, control, and mindful movement.

If a low-pressure workout environment is your vibe, Root to Rise is worth getting excited about. “The environment here is entirely low-pressure and friendly,” the Root to Rise team shared with BG, explaining that they focus on “refreshing movement rather than intimidation.”

The studio is dedicated to a personalized, supportive wellness environment with its selection of equipment and amenities (including a full shower!). It’s bringing a much-needed community vibe to Bergen County. Plus, the coffee options are super creative, with specialty drinks from matcha to seasonal sips (more on that here).
