Nothing gets Bergen County locals chatting quite like a new place to grab a drink, and Ridgewood officially has another contender. The Madison Rose Cocktail Room is now open at 2-4 Garber Square, bringing handcrafted cocktails and an intimate lounge atmosphere to the heart of the village. The new cocktail lounge is located directly across from the Ridgewood train station and steps from Black Magic Bakehouse. Read on for everything we know about The Madison Rose Cocktail Room in Ridgewood.
About The Madison Rose Cocktail Room
The new Ridgewood bar focuses on made-to-order cocktails served in an intimate setting designed for unwinding over drinks. The lounge is located inside the historic Corsa Building at 2-4 Garber Square. According to The Ridgewood Blog, plans to introduce a restaurant and bar to the building have been in development for several years.
A Look at the Cocktails + Vibe
The Madison Rose has not yet published a complete menu online, but its social media posts offer an early look at some of the creative cocktails guests can expect. The lounge’s namesake Madison Rose Signature Cocktail is made with Double Cross Vodka, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, freshly squeezed lemon juice, muddled raspberries, and honey. For those who prefer a classic, The Madison Rose also has a fun take on a Manhattan. The drink combines Bulleit Bourbon, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters, and orange before being finished with Amarena cherries.
Cocktails are not the only part of the experience. The Madison Rose plans to incorporate music into its nightlife atmosphere and announced on social media that it is searching for a resident DJ. The addition of a live resident DJ could make the lounge another late-night destination in downtown Ridgewood, particularly for groups looking to keep the evening going after dinner at one of the village’s many restaurants.
