This area of the park is unsafe due to the risk of possible additional rockfall activity,” according to a social media post by the Palisades Park Conservancy on January 10th.

The rock slide is right near the State Line Lookout, a scenic overlook that sits at the highest point on the Palisades Cliffs. It’s about half a mile south of the New Jersey, New York state line, and even has a little cafe.
