Where to See 4th of July Fireworks in Bergen County for 2025

Ice cream, beach days, and fireworks are the three summer staples in New Jersey. For the 4th of July, the Garden State goes all out with celebrations, displays, and more, and Bergen County is no exception. For 2025, there will be all kinds of fireworks shows from Allendale to East Rutherford to Edgewater. Read on for a list of fireworks shows happening in Bergen County, New Jersey, for 2025.

Allendale

When: July 4th, starting at 11AM

Where: Crestwood Lake Park, 300 West Crescent Avenue

Allendale’s annual 4th of July event returns for 2025. This is an all-day event, so while the fireworks display begins at 10:15PM, attendees can enjoy food vendors, a car show, a dunk tank, live music, a petting zoo, and more starting at 11AM. Learn more here.

East Rutherford (Meadowlands Fair)

When: July 3rd + July 4th

Where: Meadowlands Fairgrounds, 1 MetLife Stadium Drive

The State Fair Meadowlands is open now until July 7th. Taking place on July 3rd and 4th after dark, the fireworks display is viewable anywhere on the fairgrounds. There will be food, drinks, games, and entertainment. Visit the fair’s website for more.

Edgewater

When: June 26th

Where: Veterans Field, 1057-1165 River Road

Live music, food trucks, and kids’ activities are what Bergen County locals can look forward to at this Independence Day fireworks event. This takes place at Veterans Field in Edgewater on June 26th. See the Borough of Edgewater’s website for more details.

Englewood

When: July 1st at 7PM (Rain Date: July 2nd)

Where: Dwight Morrow High School Lawn, 274 Knickerbocker Road

The City of Englewood’s annual fireworks show returns on July 1st at 7PM. This free festive event will take place on the lawn of Dwight Morrow High School. See this Facebook post for more.

Fair Lawn

When: June 26th at 7PM (Rain Date: July 1st)

Where: Memorial Park, Berdan Avenue + 1st Street

The Fair Lawn Fireworks Show is scheduled for Thursday, June 26th at Memorial Park, boasting live performances from Steppin’ Out Band and an array of food and drinks vendors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their family, friends, blankets, and lawn chairs. Tickets cost $5 for children under 12 and seniors, $7 for adults, and $25 for families of five. Mahwah

When: July 10th at dusk

Where: Bandshell Lawn at Ramapo College, 505 Ramapo Valley Road

As a part of Ramapo College’s Summer Concert Series, local music group The Infernos Salute to America will play on Bandshell Lawn. At dusk, attendees can look forward to a festive fireworks show. See Ramapo College’s website for more.

Paramus

When: July 6th at 6PM

Where: Cliff Gennarelli Sports Complex, Garden State Plaza Parkway, Paramus

Gates will open at 6PM for the Paramus 4th of July celebration. There will be live music, and DJ Valentino and iHeartRadio will host the event. The fireworks will start at dusk. Learn more here.

Ramsey

When: July 3rd (Rain Date: July 6th)

Where: Finch Park, 315 Island Road

This year’s Independence Day Celebration takes place on July 3rd, with a rain date of July 6th, at Finch Park in Ramsey. Specific information has yet to be posted. See this website for future details.

Ridgefield Park

When: July 4th at 2:30PM (Rain Date: July 5th)

Where: Ridgefield Park section of Overpeck County Park, 40 Fort Lee Road, Leonia

Bergen County‘s 2nd Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular, taking place on July 4th at 2:30PM, will feature children’s activities, two dozen food trucks, a beer and wine garden, and a fireworks display to end the night. The New Jersey Wind Symphony will perform for attendees at 8PM. See this website for more.

Ridgewood

When: July 4th at 6PM

Where: Veterans Field, North Maple Avenue

With gates opening at 6PM, Ramsey will host its  July 4th celebration with performances by The Dad’s Night Band and others. The National Anthem will be sung at 9PM with fireworks to follow. Learn more here.

Tenafly

When: July 5th at 7:30PM (Rain Date: July 6th)

Where: Behind Tenafly High School, 19 Columbus Drive

Residents of Tenafly can celebrate the 4th of July with the annual Independence Day Fireworks Celebration, happening this year on July 5th. Located behind Tenafly High School, this free event features reggae beats and community fun. See this flyer for more details.
