Summer in New Jersey means long days, warm nights, and plenty of reasons to be outside, but nothing brings people together quite like Fourth of July fireworks. Across Bergen County, towns are gearing up once again for 2026 celebrations filled with community events, music, and fireworks lighting up the night sky from local parks to waterfronts. For 2026, there will be all kinds of fireworks shows from Allendale to East Rutherford to Tenafly. Read on for a list of fireworks shows happening in Bergen County, New Jersey, for 2026.

Allendale
Allendale 4th of July | 10505 Learning Lane, Allendale
Saturday, July 4th | Starting at 11AM
There will be activities in the park, including food vendors, a car show, a dunk tank, live music, a petting zoo, and more. Fireworks will begin at 10:15PM. Learn more here.

Edgewater

Fairlawn
Fairlawn Fireworks Show | Memorial Park, Berdan Avenue + 1st Street, Fairlawn
Thursday, June 25th | 6:45PM
Fair Lawn will host its fireworks show on Thursday, June 25th, at Memorial Park. Vendors will sell food and drinks, and early arrivals will hear live music performed by the “Gentlemen of Soul” band. To find out more, click here. The rain date for the fireworks will be June 30th, 2026.
Mahwah

3rd Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular | Overpeck County Park, 40 Fort Lee Road, Leonia
Saturday, July 4th | 2:00PM
Bergen County‘s 3rd Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular, taking place on July 4th at 2:30PM, will feature children’s activities, 20 food trucks, a beer and wine garden, carnival attractions, and a fireworks display to end the night. A rain date is scheduled for July 5th. The musical lineup includes the Glenn Roberts Country Band, Tempo Alegre Latin Band, Super Trans Am Band, the Sugarhill Gang, and the New Jersey Wind Symphony.
