The shop — which is decorated with vibrant, local artwork, old fixtures, modern tables and chairs, and plants — provides a wonderful atmosphere to get creative juices flowing and tackle to-do lists. The Roastery’s selection of bagels, croissants, and donuts is perfect for a morning or lunch pick-me-up and its local, top-tier cold brew can get anyone through a mid-day slump. Plus, there are two different locations to work from: 803 Second Avenue and 1300 Ocean Avenue inside of Convention Hall on the boardwalk. The Asbury Hotel | 210 5th Avenue

The Asbury Hotel lobby is a spacious and vibrant place to work remotely and it is conveniently located a block away from the beach and boardwalk. With various seating options — sunken couches, small bistro tables, long tables, or elevated risers — the lobby is a great place to work solo, meet up with clients, or work alongside other remote friends. Guest wifi and electric outlets for charging are available for visitors working on-site. The Asbury is a pet-friendly hotel and dogs are welcome to join owners in the lobby while working. The Counter is The Asbury Hotel’s lobby stop for coffee, paninis, wraps, pancakes, and more. The Counter’s kitchen hours are 7AM to 11PM but it’s Grab-N-Go fridge is open 24/7, if needed.

Booskerdoo | 1321 Memorial Drive

A coffee roastery and bake shop with Wi-Fi, what more does one need? Booskerdoo’s flagship location is located on Memorial Drive in Asbury Park. Outdoor seating is available for when the warm weather comes. Plus, those who follow a non-dairy or vegan diet can enjoy safe food and drink options, such as a vegan egg and cheese sandwich.

Cameo Love Market is a whimsical, old-school Mediterranean market and bistro built within the walls of an old speakeasy. This hidden gem in AP features farm fresh and locally sourced grab-and-go goodies plus seasonal produce. For remote working fuel, coffees, teas, tinctures, elixirs, kombucha, and Italian espresso are available, plus sandwiches, salads, and fresh bread.

Steady Hand Collective Seasonal Pop-Up Coffee Shop | 1114 Main Street

Steady Hand Collective is hosting a pop-up coffee shop experience inside R Bar on Main Street in Asbury Park for the Winter 2024 season. Visitors can find Steady Hand Collective and its indoor seating area by entering R Bar on the main floor through the south corner entrance of the building. The pop-up cafe is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8AM to 3PM and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays — so plan this remote work outing accordingly. Hot and iced lattes can be ordered for pick-up onsite ahead of time via Steady Hand Collective’s website.

Belmar

Coffee Surf Co | 803 Ocean Avenue

It’s impossible to find a better place to work remotely than right across the street from the beach. With surf punk vibes and cold brew on tap, remote workers will enjoy their work day here. Outdoor picnic area seating is available during the warmer months. PS — Coffee Surf Co. is located inside the Playa Bowls, so customers can also pick up an acai bowl or smoothie during their work sesh.

Turnstile Coffee Roasters | 1607 NJ-71

Turnstile Coffee Roasters in Belmar is a rustic-chic coffee shop featuring beans roasted on-site, espresso drinks, and cold brew on tap. Mobile ordering from the Turnstile Coffee Roasters App is available for quick and convenient service on-site. Sometimes a work day calls for a nitro cold brew, a slice of avocado toast, and a comfortable working environment that isn’t your home living space. Turnstile Coffee Roasters has a delicious selection of coffee options, plus indoor and outdoor patio seating. Turnstile is open seven days a week: Weekdays from 7AM to 3PM and weekends from 7AM to 12PM.

Bradley Beach

The Perfect Perk Cafe | 300 Main Street

The Perfect Perk Cafe is a modern cafe for coffee, cakes, and croissants located on Main Street in Bradley Beach. Visitors can grab a table or booth inside or an outdoor patio spot. Seasonal drink specials, yogurt parfaits, doughnuts, and a full line of plant-based specialty coffees and beverages are available for purchase. The Perfect Perk Cafe is open Sunday through Thursday from 7AM to 5PM and Friday and Saturday from 7AM to 7PM.

Bellworks is a one-of-a-kind business, technology, retail, and entertainment hub that houses business offices, stores, fitness centers, food establishments, a library, a convenience store, and a daycare center and offers plenty of open, seated areas to work remotely and/or meet with co-workers or clients. Odyssey has both indoor and outdoor seating, Wi-Fi, and a standard menu featuring coffee, teas, lattes, and a small collection of baked goods. Odyssey Coffee is located two blocks from the beach and has free parking available on Main Avenue and the surrounding neighborhood streets.
