Jersey Shore foodies can look forward to a full day of cheesy fun in Red Bank this September. The first-ever Red Bank Mac + Cheese Festival will take place on Saturday, September 27th from 1PM-5PM, and is being held as a food crawl. There are over 15 local restaurants participating in the festival, all serving up different variations of mac and cheese. Event Details
The Red Bank Mac + Cheese Festival, hosted by the lokel group, will be held crawl-style from 1PM-5PM on Saturday, September 27th, 2025. General admission, VIP, and child tickets are available for purchase now on the website. General admission costs $43.40, VIP costs $69.60, and child tickets cost $22.20. Child tickets must be purchased with a VIP or General Admission ticket. Check-in is at Red Rock Tap + Grill, located at 14 Wharf Avenue, and you can check in up until 3PM. The event will be held rain or shine, and you can go at your own pace.

Tickets include a sample of each of the participating restaurants’ featured mac and cheese dish, a free scoop of event-only ice cream from Coney Waffle, and an exclusive 30% discount at Canopy Crossroad Dispensary for those that are 21+. The VIP ticket also gets you penny product samples from Canopy Crossroad Dispensary (21+ only), an official Red Bank Mac + Cheese Fest “Send Noods” t-shirt, skip the line ability, and free cookie from Jersey Girl Cookie. The event t-shirts are also available as an add-on purchase when you buy your ticket.

So, what restaurants are participating in this year’s Red Bank Mac + Cheese Fest and what is each serving? The list is constantly being updated, so check the website for updates, but here are the confirmed locations so far:
- Anderson Market (dish is TBD)
- Butcher + The Bull (bacon + beer mac n cheese)
- B2 Bistro (truffle mac + cheese topped with oreganata)
- Char Steakhouse (BBQ short rib mac + cheese)
- Dublin House (mushroom + Irish bacon mac + cheese; house lobster mac + cheese)
- JBJ Soul Kitchen (soul seasoned mac and cheese)
- Local Smoke BBQ (traditional housemade mac and cheese)
- Melting Pot (bacon mac + cheese fondue)
- Neapoli (classic, buffalo, + jack cheddar mac + cheese)
- Patrizia’s (lobster mac + cheese)
- Pazzo (mac + cheese with broccoli + breaded chicken)
- Red Rock Tap + Grill (original mac + cheese)
- Robinson Ale House (original mac + cheese)
- Sally Boys (fontina + cheddar mac + cheese on a focaccia slice)
- Toast Red Bank (lobster mac + cheese)
- Urban CoalHouse (macaroni + cheese topped with panko + bacon)
- Via Sposito (rigatoni mezzi baked with 3 cheeses: gorgonzola, fontina, and pecorino)
The event will benefit JBJ Soul Kitchen, a non-profit community restaurant by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation that provides a unique dining experience where paying guests and those in need share a table. The spot has served over 221,000 meals, with more than half going to those in need.
