–Former NHL assistant coach Jessica Campbell has joined the New Jersey Devils as Manager of Player Development, continuing a career that has included several history-making roles in professional hockey (The New Jersey Girl).
–Culina Mundi has opened in Ventnor with a globally inspired menu (The Jersey Shore Girl).
–Authorities are searching for a 64-year-old Pennsylvania man after his empty commercial clamming boat was found drifting near Atlantic Highlands with no one aboard (News 12 New Jersey).
– New neighbors? Home decor site Wayfair is eyeing an Ocean Township location as part of a broader expansion in the state (NJ.com).
–Local restaurant news includes the opening of 7th Street Burger in Brick, while Gilchrist Restaurant’s Margate location closed on September 16th (New Jersey Monthly).
-Fall weather incoming. A developing nor’easter could bring several days of strong winds, dangerous surf, coastal flooding, and beach erosion to New Jersey and other parts of the East Coast this week (FOX Weather).
–Brick Township officials are moving to restrict data centers through local zoning rules amid concerns about noise, energy and water use, and environmental impacts, even though no data center applications have been filed in town (Jersey Shore Online).
-Caffeination nation. Gregory’s Coffee has opened its first Monmouth County café at 360 Route 9 in Manalapan, featuring the company’s first double-lane drive-thru and a grand opening celebration with founder Gregory Zamfotis (@gregoryscoffee via Instagram).
–The Beachwood Volunteer Fire Department received a $10,000 State Farm Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program grant that will be used to purchase new firefighting gear (Jersey Shore Online).
