Every year, the Jersey Shore welcomes locals and bennies to enjoy a quintessential summer experience: fireworks at the beach. A long day of swimming in the ocean, skeeball, sunbathing, ice cream, and salt water taffy can only be topped off by enjoying a breezy summer night sitting on a blanket watching a spectacular pyrotechnics show with loved ones. From spectating on the eclectic Asbury Park Boardwalk or going on family-friendly amusement rides at Jenkinsons to casino-hopping in Atlantic City, each location provides a fun and unique fireworks-viewing experience. Asbury Park
When: July 3rd
Where: 1st, 3rd, and 5th Avenue Beaches + 1300 North Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park
Asbury Park will celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks show on July 3rd. The beaches will close at 6PM that day to prepare for the festivities. The fireworks display will begin at 9PM from the Second and Fourth Avenue beaches. The fireworks are best viewed from a spot on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, but can be seen from the Ocean Grove and Bradley Beach boardwalks as well. Grab a drink at the AP Rooftop bar or make a reservation for an outdoor table at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club on the Asbury Park Boardwalk for an elevated fireworks viewing experience.

Atlantic City
When: Various dates during May through August
Where: Tropicana Casino + Resort, 2831 Boardwalk
Tropicana Casino + Resort in Atlantic City hosts a stunning summer fireworks display visible from the beach and the iconic Atlantic City boardwalk. The fireworks light up the night sky at 10PM. Fireworks from the Tropicana are scheduled for the following dates in 2026: May 23rd, June 27th, July 4th, July 18th, August 8th, August 22nd, and September 5.
Atlantic Highlands
When: July 2nd at dusk
Where: Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor, 2 Simon Lake Drive
Atlantic Highlands locals can celebrate the 4th of July a day earlier. This year, fireworks will take place at dusk on July 2nd along the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor, located at 2 Simon Lake Drive. This community event is free to attend.
Beachwood
When: Saturday, July 4th, 2026
Where: Beachwood Beach
Beachwood will host its annual Fourth of July fireworks spectacular on Saturday, July 4th, 2026. The best viewing spots include the banks of the Toms River in Beachwood, Pine Beach, Ocean Gate, Toms River, South Toms River, and Island Heights. More information can be found on the Beachwood website.
Bradley Beach – TBA
Belmar
When: July 5th from 8PM to 9PM
Where: Taylor Pavilion, 500 Ocean Avenue North
Belmar’s annual fireworks show returns on July 5th at 8PM. This will take place at Taylor Pavilion, located at 500 Ocean Avenue North. .
Brick
When: Every Thursday in July
Where: Windward Beach Park, 265 Princeton Avenue
Brick Township’s SummerFest will celebrate its 31st season in 2026. Windward Beach Park hosts SummerFest every Thursday night in July, with additional dates added in case of inclement weather. The weekly event features a live concert, food trucks, and a fireworks display at the end of the night. The concerts are free, and music starts at approximately 7PM every week. Brick Township offers a complimentary shuttle bus service that brings locals to and from Windward Beach. The shuttle bus pick-up + drop-off locations are Drum Point Elementary School, Veterans Memorial Middle School, Midstreams Elementary School, Lanes Mill School, and Brick Township High School. Parking at Windward Beach is very limited, and vehicle access to the park is closed once the lot is filled, so use of the shuttles is highly encouraged. Cape May
When: July 4th at dusk
Where: across from Congress Hall, 200 Congress Place
Cape May’s annual fireworks display returns on July 4th this year. Fireworks will launch across from Congress Hall, from a barge a quarter-mile offshore. The town recommends finding a spot on the beach, promenade, or any property facing Beach Avenue to enjoy the show. See this link for more. There will also be a parade during the day.
Jackson (Six Flags)
When: July 4th
Where: Six Flags, 1 Six Flags Boulevard, Jackson
Six Flags will celebrate the 4th of July with Star-Spangled Nights, a celebration featuring entertainment and a fireworks display on July 4th and 5th at 9:30PM. See this website for more.
Keansburg
When: July 4th at 11PM
Where: Baywalk East, 2 Beachway Avenue
Keansburg’s annual “Fireworks at the Boardwalk” takes place on July 3rd over Keansburg Amusement Park, located at 275 Beachway Avenue. The day will be filled with rides, carnival food, and more, and end with the display at 9PM. Visit this website for more information.
Lakewood
When: Select dates throughout April, June, July, and August 2026
Where: 2 Stadium Way, Lakewood
Minor League Baseball team, the Jersey Shore Blueclaws, tops off some of its most popular games with the biggest, brightest, most colorful fireworks shows at the Jersey Shore. The following games will have Post-Game Fireworks Nights in 2026: April 7th (Opening Night); May 15th, 29th June: 5th, 19th; July 3rd, 4th, 24th, 25th; August 7th, 20th, 21st, 28th, and 29th. Lavallette
When: Assorted
Where: Lavallette Gazebo, Centennial Gardens, Bay Boulevard, Lavallette
The Patriotic Bike Parade will take place at 9AM on Friday, July 3rd. The fireworks will take place on Sunday, July 5th. Lavallette will celebrate the 4th of July two days later with a gazebo concert at 8PM. A fireworks display will take place at 9PM. The rain date is July 12th.
Long Branch
When: July 4th from 1PM-10PM
Where: Long Branch Promenade
Fireworks in Long Branch come with an entire day-long festival. Oceanfest, featuring food vendors, children’s rides, professional sand sculpting, and live musical entertainment, caps off the night with what it proudly calls the “Biggest Fireworks Display in the Garden State.” This event takes place on July 4th from 1PM to 10PM at the Long Branch Promenade. Manasquan
When: Thursday July 2nd from 5:15PM to 10PM
Where: Manasquan beachfront
Manasquan’s annual July 4th Celebration takes place on July 2nd at 5:15PM for 2026. This community event is complete with a town-wide parade, beach concert, and, of course, fireworks display. This takes place at the beachfront in Manasquan. See this link for more.

Where: Ocean City Boardwalk
Ocean City’s annual 4th of July celebration begins at 7PM with its annual Kite Flying Competition. Then, at 9PM, locals can flock to the beach to enjoy the fireworks display. See this link, featuring all of Ocean City’s summer events for 2026, for more.
Point Pleasant
When: Every Thursday night from June 18th to September 3rd.
Where: Jenkinson’s Boardwalk
From 9:30PM to 9:45PM, locals can enjoy fireworks on the beach every Thursday from June 18th to September 3rd. This takes place at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk. All Thursday shows are weather permitting and subject to change. See this link for updates.
Seaside Heights
When: Every Wednesday during July + August 2026
Where: Boardwalk, Seaside Heights
Fireworks kick off at 9:30PM every Wednesday in the Summer, weather permitting, in Seaside Heights. The fireworks are visible from anywhere on the Seaside beach and boardwalk. Guests should get to the boardwalk early to ride some amusement rides, visit the arcades, grab an ice cream cone from Kohr’s, and post up at a prime viewing spot for the fireworks display. Stone Harbor
When: Friday, July 3rd, 2026
Where: 81st Street Recreation Fields
Stone Harbor will host its 2026 Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 3rd, at 9:15PM. The best viewing spots are from the 81st Street Recreation Fields or on the beach. More information can be found on the Stone Harbor events calendar.

Wildwood
When: Every Friday night from June 26 to September 4
Where: Wildwoods Boardwalk
Celebrate Independence Day on the Wildwoods Boardwalk and enjoy the Fireworks Spectacular on Friday, July 3rd at 10PM. This special fireworks spectacular, launched from the beach at Pine Avenue, is synchronized to patriotic music that will play over the Wildwoods Boardwalk speaker system. Fireworks can also be enjoyed on the Wildwoods Boardwalk every Friday night at 10PM during July and August.
