Showcasing works from nationally and internationally renowned and collected artists, this Red Bank gallery specializes in original art and sculpture. Detour Gallery | 24 Clay Street, Red Bank
Detour Gallery, located at 24 Clay Street in Red Bank, is a contemporary art space housed in a 10,000-square-foot converted warehouse. The gallery’s founder has been running it for the past 50 years with a philosophy of celebrating the under-appreciated diversity of various emerging artists. The space consists of three main exhibition spaces and several exterior locations for artistic engagement. Though the hours in the Red Bank location are limited, there is an additional location that operates at 545 W 23rd Street in New York City.
Hot Sand | 550 Cookman Avenue #103, Asbury Park
“Hot glass magic” oozes out of Hot Sand in Asbury Park. Both a gallery of work and an immersive glass experience, it has been open since 2007 and is located in the heart of downtown on Cookman Avenue. The space features a gallery showcasing handcrafted glassware and an on-site glass-blowing facility that can host group events, educational programs, and unique gift sets that can capture pet paw prints in glass.
Locals Art Space | 406 + 408 Main Street, Asbury Park
Locals Art Space is a vibrant art gallery, creative space, and artisan shop located on Main Street in Asbury Park. Established in 2019 by Patricia F. Arroyo, the gallery has exhibitions, workshops, classes, and artist collaborations. While the gallery is small in size, the support is expansive. Artists all over New Jersey support this non-profit that relies on the generosity of donors, members, and art lovers alike.

On a mission to grow a vibrant art community, the Main Ave Galleria engages people of all ages and abilities in art-making. The studio has regularly hosted over 15 different classes in various media from painting to drawing, since 2012. Ocean Galleries is a distinguished fine art gallery with locations in Avalon and Stone Harbor. The gallery has a wide variety of hand-crafted items such as glass, jewelry, and furniture, in addition to expertly executed custom framing. Parlor Gallery | 717 Cookman Avenue, Asbury Park
For 16 years, Parlor Gallery has been at the heart of Asbury Park’s artistic and cultural community with perhaps some of the most visible works adorning the walls of structures enhancing the boardwalk through a collaboration called The Wooden Walls Project. An artist-directed gallery, it is committed to fostering artistic growth by providing a platform for first-time exhibitors and internationally recognized artists. The Sperlak Gallery + Sculpture Gardens | 521 Route 47 North, Goshen
The Sperlak gallery has art in its most primitive form: nature. The working farm, studio, nature sanctuary and sculpture garden of artist Stan Sperlak has become one of the most popular “art” destinations in the country. Visitors can explore well-maintained nature trails adorned with more than 100 outdoor sculptures made of stone, wood, iron, and terra cotta.
