Asbury Park’s most famous music venue is undoubtedly The Stone Pony. The historic club known for launching the careers of Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi hosts both national and local acts. Any musician who gets to play The Stone Pony feels honored to grace the iconic Jersey Shore stage. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com and at The Stone Pony box office. AG Pro Tip: Tickets bought at the box office are not subject to the Ticketmaster online fees, which will save a few bucks. Box office hours are Thursday through Sunday from 12PM to 5PM  and during all show hours.

The Stone Pony Summer Stage | 913 Ocean Avenue

The Stone Pony Summer Stage is The Stone Pony’s outdoor counterpart, with a capacity of 3,000 attendees. The Summer Stage is open from May to October, hosting some of the biggest touring acts all summer long. If you see the famous “Tillie” face mural, you know you’re in the right spot. The Wonder Bar is a classic Asbury Park bar and concert venue known for its live music and Yappy Hour — an outdoor, dog-friendly happy hour, of course. Just steps from the beach and the Asbury Park Boardwalk, The Wonder Bar hosts shows from both national touring bands and local musicians. All shows at The Wonder Bar are 21+ unless otherwise noted. Tickets can be purchased on The Wonder Bar’s website or on-site at the box office.

Editor’s Note: While the Asbury Park Convention Hall and The Paramount Theatre, located on the boardwalk, have famously hosted iconic shows and concerts over the years, both venues are currently closed indefinitely because they have been, “deemed unsafe for human occupancy” according to a report from the Asbury Park Press.
