Unlike waxing and shaving, sugar paste does not adhere to live skin cells so there is less trauma to the skin during the service — no skin pulling, no skin redness, and no sticky residue. Sugar is applied at body temperature (as opposed to hot wax) which makes it safe and soothing in any area.
