What to Order
It can be confusing to know if you are ordering what you want. Don’t worry, we’ve broken down the different types of dishes to try:
- Sushi roll: The traditional type of sushi roll, also called ‘maki.’
- Hand roll: A cone-shaped roll with a seaweed cone filled with rice and other ingredients. These are not cut into smaller pieces.
- Sashimi: This is not technically sushi as you think of a roll, but rather slices of fish with other garnishes including wasabi and ginger.
- Nigiri: This is a ball of rice with a slice of fish laid on top.
