A new craft brewery is under construction on the Jersey Shore. Five Dimes Brewery, known for its locations in Westwood and Red Bank, has announced that its third taproom is underway at 334 Hawthorne Avenue in Point Pleasant. The brewery has already broken ground on the new space and is targeting a fall opening. The Point Pleasant location will bring the same neighborhood-focused atmosphere that has made Five Dimes a favorite at its North Jersey locations. Guests can expect house-brewed craft beer, live music, and the brewery’s signature bring-your-own-food policy, making it an ideal stop before or after a day at the beach or boardwalk. What We Know
Five Dimes first announced its upcoming Jersey Shore location on Instagram in March 2025, with an anticipated opening initially set for Spring 2026. The brewery will be located at the former site of Point Bay Fuel and will retain several elements of the old building, including its original barn-style roof and clock tower.

While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, the brewery will continue to share construction progress and opening updates on its Instagram page, according to its website. For now, the brewery says it is not yet accepting bookings for private events, live music, or entertainment at the new location. Those interested in hosting an event in 2026 are encouraged to contact the brewery’s existing Westwood or Red Bank taprooms.

“We’re excited to bring Five Dimes to Point Pleasant Beach and create a space where the community can gather over great craft beer,” a representative of 5 Dimes told The Jersey Shore Girl. “Construction is moving along well, and we’re looking forward to opening our doors soon.”
About Five Dimes Brewery
According to its website, Five Dimes opened its first brewery in Westwood inside the former L.N. Grand 5 & 10 Cent Store, a longtime community fixture that operated at 247 Westwood Avenue for more than 60 years. Founder Chris Alepa, an avid homebrewer inspired by brewery visits across the country, created Five Dimes with the goal of bringing people together over locally brewed beer. The brewery later expanded to a second location at 77 Monmouth Street in Red Bank in 2024 at the former site of Red Tank Brewing, and is now preparing to debut its first Jersey Shore location.

Five Dimes Brewery offers a wide-ranging beer menu that blends classic styles with creative, small-batch experimentation. Guests can choose from German-style pilsners and lagers, hazy and West Coast IPAs, Belgian ales, stouts, porters, and seasonal specialties. The brewery is also known for inventive dessert-inspired beers like Orange Creamsicle and Strawberry Creamsicle ales, as well as fruit-forward sour ales and limited-edition collaborations with local businesses, giving traditional craft beer fans and adventurous drinkers plenty to explore.

Beyond its craft beer selection, Five Dimes Brewery has also become known for its community-focused event calendar. The brewery regularly hosts live music from local bands and musicians, seasonal celebrations like Oktoberfest and the Witch-Craft Beer Festival, and special events including the Monmouth Park BBQ & Beer Festival. In addition to public programming, Five Dimes also offers private event spaces for weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations.
